My highest need right now is working with difficult clinical cases-kids that have been diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS. Trying to work with parents to slowly try to wean these kids off of all the meds they are taking, how do you approach this conversation. I have tried doing it gently because the nervous system needs to figure out how to work without so much chemical stressors but these moms have really scared into the fact that their child needs them.

Leaning in to what’s important to the client!
Being playful in practice has brought more of my nature into my work. Addressing what’s important to children by adjusting their toys or the naughty elf to help his behaviour enables us to teach kids that adjustments are important for behaviour and nervous system balance whilst remaining playful.

Using baby dolls or even cars and stuffy's can be so helpful when working with kids and toddlers
