I have two and two more in the works. I've even started helping other business owners publish their client-attracting books too! 🙌💖
I hadn’t told anyone this, but recently I was feeling discouraged in my business.
I looked at our numbers, our impact, and all the incredible things we’ve done—yet a small voice whispered, “We should be bigger by now.” And here’s the raw truth: I know what we offer is good. I know our clients are getting results. I know our mastermind has renewed over 70% of clients—at $35,000–$50,000 levels—over the last two years. I know we’ve literally helped hundreds of people land five and six-figure contracts - many of which through the Pitch Your Way to Cash® Academy. I know we’ve created industry tools that changed the game for experts. But even knowing all that… I still felt overlooked. This wasn’t a new feeling. Years ago, I had another business we eventually closed to the general public. Back then, I remember the exact same tension: I’ve done a lot, but there’s more in me. And that voice came back. I realized something recently—what I was doing wasn’t about scaling. It was about sustaining. And I didn’t build this company to sustain. I built it to scale. This is our scale year. Now let me be clear—we’ve already matched last year’s revenue this year. That should make me content. We’re on the Inc. 5000 list again. But if you’re a visionary like me, y’all know gratitude and hunger can coexist. Leaders hold themselves to a higher standard than others hold them to. You can be “doing well” to the world and still feel like you’re not yet operating at the level God has called you to. Then—one email changed everything. It was from my friend Russell Brunson. He’s one of the best marketers in the world, and several years ago before we evenr met, his book Expert Secrets changed my life. The email said: “Private Invite Only.” He was hosting a small event. Without reading the whole sales letter (rookie move), I clicked “buy” and paid a $1,000 deposit. I assumed that was the ticket price. Then the next page popped up: $24,000 more. I paused. I went back, skimmed the letter, and realized he was teaching how to run paid five-day event series that could forever change the way we serve.

🎉🎉🎉 Can't wait to see you grow even more!
Here’s my unpopular belief: Grinding has nothing to do with hustle culture. It’s something deeper—and no one’s talking about it.
Working hard isn’t toxic. Working with no purpose is. Let’s stop blaming the grind and start questioning what we’re actually building. Everyone wants to copy big results but ignore the work ethic. They want the income without the intention. The influence without the investment. We live in a weird world where ambition is questioned, and consistency is criticized— all under the label of “hustle culture.” But here’s what they miss: —> Gallup says 77% of the global workforce is disengaged. —>Over 40% of professionals feel emotionally detached from what they do. That’s not because they’re doing too much. It’s because they’re doing work that doesn’t matter to them. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Grinding isn’t about working more. It’s about the energy you’re working from. If you’re building from burnout, fear, or a need to be seen— it’ll drain you. That’s a grind. 👎🏽 But if you build from clarity, alignment, and belief— you’ll wake up with purpose. You don’t necessarily need to work less. Each vision requires something different, but check the source you’re working from - that’s what matters more than your hours. What drains you may excite me, but we have different reasons for our work. Check that and go out and build something worth working for… 📌 So no—hard work isn’t the enemy. Disconnection is.

🙌🙌🙌🙌 So much yes to this!!!! I talk about this all the time! Hustle for the sake of hustle is Fn BS. BUT!!!!! Aligned inspired action? All day baby! Let me at it! That is action with a purpose and what moves our businesses forward. “Working hard isn’t toxic. Working with no purpose is." 1000%!
If you’re negative, read this book.
Look, the absolute worst thing you can do is be led 100% by your feelings. In a moment, you’ll ruin relationships. You’ll make bad decisions in business. And you’ll be inconsistent. People want to do everything except be positive and consistent. But there’s no magic wand—just consistency. Let me clarify: it’s not just about doing the same thing over and over. It’s about analyzing your results and making pivots based on data—not feelings. The hardest part of coaching? It’s knowing, deep down, that no matter how much strategy you give, some people can’t outwork themselves or their thinking. That said, you can change your thinking. When people ask me how I deal with hard thoughts or the desire to quit, the answer is simple: I work the plan. And on the days I can’t? I pause, then work the plan the next day. I analyze the data and make adjustments—but I don’t whine. Now, that said, you do have the right to vent. Maybe that helps you. But be careful. Because once your thinking spirals into “This won’t work” or “I can’t do this,” the work feels heavier and heavier. And eventually, you can’t even see your situation accurately.P
If you’re negative, read this book.
