What is the one thing you want to learn or improve this week? Comment anything you have: A link A single frame A prompt A rough idea you are still figuring out Even a stuck point you cannot get past I will jump in and help you move it forward. And if you comment, do one more thing - reply to one other person in here with a helpful thought, a suggestion, or even just encouragement.

@Shawntee Robinson Shawntee! I'm sorry, but did you use a calibrated monitor to grade to? That's step one if you do this by eye. Your monitor MUST be calibrated so you're seeing the same image all the other networks, streamers, etc are seeing. Otherwise you MUST use your scopes! These instruments will also show you if your image is color and brightness/contrast balanced, regardless of what monitor you're using. If you use Resolve's Da Vinci color correction program (which I highly recommend) then get the basic training from blackmagicdesign.com. And learn it. This is like flying a plane. You COULD just jump in it and figure it out... but it's better to, you know, get training and a license? NOT for beginners, in the sense of the YouGlePedia generation going "yeah, I watched it on a YT video and Wow! I know kung fu!"
Meta Ad Challenge Winner
Alright y’all, we have a winner. Big congrats to @Chris Greene for taking the win on the latest challenge. Super strong entry and it definitely stood out. And for real, shoutout to everyone who jumped in! We had several awesome submissions, and it was really cool to see how different everyone’s approach was. If you entered, I hope this challenge did what it is supposed to do. Can you see what is possible right now? And have you discovered where your skills are strong and where you need reps? Next challenge will be announced on Friday!

Congrats @Chris Greene !!
Consistency Pipeline 2: Look Lock
New Toolbox lesson is live in the Classroom. If you have ever struggled to keep the same look across different scenes, this fixes it. You will create a hero image in MidJourney, then use a specific NanoBanana Pro prompt to lock the style, tone, and color so your shots feel like they belong in the same film. You can find it now in the Toolbox.

@N'neka Hite hi! Well who are you falling behind? I just started here so by definition you're ahead of me! I really wouldn't worry about anybody else. This is about as far from the YouGlePedia generation's "I just watched a YT tutorial and wow! I know kung fu!" as it can get. Thing is, if you don't put in the time to get ahead of it, or at least get a hold of it, it will be ahead of you and will get a hold of you. So there's not really much choice in the matter, just take breaks and come back often and use baby steps, IMHO.
Two New Resources in the Classroom
Just added two new copy paste resources inside AI Filmmaker Lab. 1. Camera Lens Glossary (Toolbox) This breaks down the most common lens types and how they shape the feel of a shot. It helps you choose lens language with intention so your prompts communicate things like how wide or tight the frame feels, how much background you see, and the overall cinematic vibe. Use it when you want your prompts to feel more like real camera choices instead of generic “cinematic.” 2. MidJourney Aspect Ratio Guide (MidJourney Quick Start) A quick reference of the main aspect ratios you can use in MidJourney, plus the exact prompt format to get them. Super simple. Copy paste and keep moving. Quick assignment if you want one: Take an image you already made and rerun it in three different aspect ratios. Notice how the framing and emphasis changes. Post your results in the comments.

Love this! Thank you!
Good to be here!
Chris Ross Leong here, very long time film maker and now indie producer too!. Have several AI projects going, wanted to get your take on nodal construction instead of endless prompt copy/paste iterations! Let's see how this goes! Thanks for making this fun!
