Plunge immediately upon waking
The area I’m hoping to improve is jumping into the cold plunge right when I wake up. I get up at 6:15 a.m., but realistically, I don’t make it to the plunge until around 7:30 or 7:45 because I tend to procrastinate.

Cold Shower
It’s finally cold enough in AZ that I can take cold showers, first one of the season completed ❄️

I have a friend moving to Kingman AZ right now. Apparently it gets pretty cold there!
The cure
I was really sick earlier this week, which completely threw me off my routine. My mind was putting up a lot of resistance to getting back into cold plunging. But I did it—I plunged yesterday, and again today. Surprisingly, what I thought were lingering flu symptoms actually disappeared after I plunged. It’s amazing!
Sleeping hot from plunging
Since I started regularly cold-plunging again a few weeks back, I’ve been waking up and staying up in the middle of the night due to feeling really hot. I switched from my usual two blankets to one and managed to go back to sleep last night eventually. I think it might be because my body is just running hotter than usual due to increased cold plunging. I’ve read this can be a thing for some people.

Cold plunge before sunrise?
Who’s in? Do you guys remember the Cold Shower Club on clubhouse. We did group cold showers everyday at 7AM 😆 Covid were strange times 😂
