3rd thanks, I need to stop these?!
Hi Chris! I know I should just stop these already but god damn! My athlete just broke the school freshman 800m record and they added him as a fill in for the 400m which he doesn’t run and he broke the freshman record on that and the 4x400m! He also hasn’t had a race where time regressed! Consistently same or better! Some gold in these hills 😂. Thanks again!

Shredmill vs 1080
Chris, I see in one of your workouts that you utilized Shredmill Gear 3. I don’t recall ever hearing you speak about your experience using the shredmill. Can you also give some insight into a comparison between the shredmill and the 1080 sprint for a private performance gym looking to upgrade equipment. Myself, along with other private facilities can usually only do a big upgrade every few years and one at a time. So having the information to compare some of the technology is really helpful. I get the idea of using the handles to fix the athlete in a position to learn how to hold the proper angles and drive, but at the same time with all of the work you do with torso and upper body, I wonder about some of the downfalls with stabilizing the torso too often when sprinting. Thanks Chris.

Hi Thomas. I have never used a shred mill. We have 3 at my hs but I don't use them for my track team. I use an isokinetic setting on my 1080. So, I don't have nay experience with the machine.
Thanks once again!
Just got a message my track kid blew his 800m and 1500m PRs again! The cats out of the bag now so the ex Olympian coach and team are summoning me! Great fancy LA private school too! Their rivals just messaged me too lol! Your ideas and RPR have been integral! Thanks again!

Placement into tiers
Chris, When you divide up your sprinters into the different tiers, do you go mainly on how fast they run or do you add in other metrics, ie their mechanics and ability to learn, etc? Thanks

we go by how they look. No body control is tier 3. Heel striker/crossover Tier 2. Looks good, tier 1. Easier to place into groups. tier 3 can do fly 10's, line hops, bounding and general strength thru iso and weight room. Both 2 and 3 get wickets. Tier 2 would have arms over head on wickets, prime time.
