OK as part of Challenge # 1 I'm posting a bio and quick pic! I'm a dual career agent currently and have been in marketing and advertising for over 20 yrs. Activities of this have included the entire production process from scripting, directing and editing short form national commercials. During this time...I had an alter ego that was involved in real estate at the urging my wife. She's the big idea person and I'm the one to executes. This introduced us to real estate investing which included full rehabs for ourselves and others, house hacking (living in a home/dulplex renting out other unit) and through this we've acquired a small portfolio that we continue to long term hold and manage. I obtained my license quite awhile ago now with the thought that we would use it to further our vacation rental prop management biz (which didn't come to fruition so we pivoted) and real estate investment purchase. I've only recently started to use my license actively to help buyers/sellers. I've found that the chaos and stress of managing a commercial production with many moving parts is very similar to a real estate transaction so it's been a natural fit for me. My first few transaction thus far have all come with their unique challenges but it's my job to be the glue that keeps it all together. My hope in joining this community is to learn from someone who's done it/doing it every day and has created a system to attract their ideal client. I'm not naive to how much work this involves but I'm right the cusp of career change that I cannot control but happy to have this framework. Side note, I'm in awe of what Chris has been able to accomplish with how busy this man's life must be and it's inspirational to see...and yet he's still got time to do this as well. Oh yeah, and outside of this all I enjoy Jeeps, pool (the bar kind), my belgian malinois, continued learning/self improvement, Alzheimers support and research, camping and my rock Lori.
