I entered my short film in a Film Festival and won 3 rd place. So what, it didn’t open any doors. I entered the same short in other festivals and all I got was a total of hefty entrance fees! Yes, all lotteries! My biggest take away is the answer to your question we all must ask ourselves as creators, “ Why would anyone invest in my project, my dream, if don’t invest in it myself?” The answer is… “Invest in yourself first, then all your future investors will believe in you, because you did it - you made it come to life- by believing in yourself.” My biggest concern is never getting my project made- because I wasted time and money believing the Industry Lies and getting nowhere.

Hi, I’m Cheryl Schaberg currently in Los Angeles. I’m a Writer, Actor and Producer. My Brand is “Supernatural Warrior Women” I want to bring awareness to the human trafficking of children that’s happening right here and right now, within the United States. It’s hidden in plain sight! I want to educate through entertainment, so I wrote a TV series called”Missing Daughters” and filmed a short Pilot for proof of concept. My goal is to have weekly episodes that tell a compelling story- a Supernatural Crime Drama, that also shirked how to keep your children safe. It’s where Law and Order: SVU meets Stranger Things with a sprinkle of This is Us. I can make it a Feature Film first as well. I am passionate about this topic, as it almost happened to my own children. It changed me forever and I want every family to know what to do to prevent it from happening to them.
