I’ve noticed a lot of parents in this group training not just for themselves… but to be strong, active role models for their children. That’s powerful. If you don’t have kids — think about your parents. What example did they set for you when it came to health, movement, and discipline? Curious to hear your thoughts 👇
My 5 year old and even my 2 year old lol will try to do push ups or handstands after seeing me doing them. It is definitely part of my motivation to be stronger and healthier to be a role model for them and have the energy to keep up with them.
Gym day. Bench, deadlift, squat, leg extensions, tricep extensions and handstands. 3 seconds hang today. If three weeks of practice gets me three seconds, maybe in 7 weeks I'll have my 10 seconds hang?
Didn't want to be in the gym again today so simple workout at home before work. Working out where I'm at in dragon squat. Paralettes straddle to shoulder stand transitions, and a few pull ups on the rings
My abs were still sore today and weren’t having it with holding a straight handstand very long, but my arms and shoulders were feeling good upside down so I worked on split leg handstand before my main workout today. I find it easier to start to learn to handstand and balance this way.
@Karyn Ainsworth Thank you! You’ll get there! I learned to do it about 10 years ago decently, but it took me probably 6 months to a year to get it down originally. I guess my original practice hasn’t left me completely. I just need to get my strength and control back.
