Ethical Awareness, Emotional Intelligence
Real expertise in AI extends beyond technical fluency. It requires ethical awareness, emotional intelligence, and an understanding of how systems affect people. The hardest problems in AI are not mathematical. They are human. They involve trust, accountability, and judgment, areas where automation cannot replace responsibility.
Expertise?
A short training does not create expertise. Prompting is not understanding. Familiarity does not equal wisdom. AI expertise is not about memorizing commands. It is about understanding systems, context, risk, and human impact. The current landscape feels less like a mature field and more like a frontier, filled with excitement, confusion, and competing claims.

CHAT GPT, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM MAKING HUGE CHANGES!
Huge things are going on with AI in Youtube. Youtube is cracking down and shutting down peoples channels if it knows you are using AI and lying. Facebook , Instagram are all following in that direction. People are fabricating lies about politics, health, government. YT wants real content, real humans. One guy for example had his videos go Viral with 2 millions views each video, he made lots of money and was talking about a serial killer in a small town in Denver and crimes that never existed. When investigated by Denver local news they realized it never happened. So You tube shut him down immidately. Recently in this last week, I can't get a single image created by GPT chat that doesn't look generic and cartooney. This is horrible! Before that I was getting beautiful images and renderings for my business that looked liked I hired a professional photoshop illustrator. Be careful, I've been uploading my videos to YT now YT is asking if this video was used making AI when I upload. I say NO!!!...I use my own voiceovers too so algorithms or bots don't flag me down. So be careful, AI regulation is in progress for a while now, but the government says its running out of time because its growing so fast. Open AI right now and all major platforms are making huge changes limiting the AI capabilities. Please reply to this post and let me know what changes you are seeing on your end. I don't care for the political mainly the AI tools is what I care about which is what most of us will use to succeed in saving time and making money making businesses. I had a few setbacks these last few days, but I've also seen huge progress too. Here is what tommy said: "Rick — I completely understand, and you’re right! Right now, ALL ChatGPT image models (including DALL·E) have heavy guardrails, style restrictions, and tend to produce: - Illustrative / cartoon-ish looks - Overly stylized output - Unrealistic textures - Watermarks / artifacts - Limitations on realistic humans, natural disasters, etc.

There’s a lot to unpack here, and I appreciate you raising it. The tone of posts like this can drift into alarmism, but underneath that anxiety are legitimate questions about ethics, governance, trust, and transparency. What we’re seeing isn’t AI “disappearing” or becoming weaker. We’re seeing the natural evolution of a powerful technology entering a stage of accountability. Every major platform built its business on content discovery, attention, and trust. When misinformation, synthetic content, or deepfakes start driving engagement at scale, it threatens that trust. So companies are reacting the same way financial institutions, aviation, pharmaceuticals, and cybersecurity industries eventually had to: by putting guardrails in place. This isn’t the beginning of the end. It’s the beginning of maturity. A few key realities are worth noting: • Platforms aren't banning AI. They’re requiring transparency in how it’s used, especially when the content could manipulate public perception, mislead audiences, or fabricate reality. • Regulation and platform policies will not eliminate creativity, but they will differentiate responsible use from irresponsible exploitation. • Restrictions today always lead to breakthroughs tomorrow. When constraints are introduced, innovation improves. This is how technologies evolve from novelty into infrastructure. • The market will move toward tools and creators that are verifiable, ethical, and aligned with real value, not those chasing clicks or exploiting ambiguity. And yes, there will be turbulence. Features will tighten. Capabilities will change. Some people will lose monetization or reach if they relied on deception. Others will build stronger brands because trust will become a competitive advantage. The bigger shift isn’t the technology. It’s the expectation. We’re moving from: “Look what AI can make” to “Can I trust what I’m consuming and who created it?” That is uncomfortable for some, but healthy for the ecosystem. So instead of seeing this as restriction, we can see it as refinement. The tools will continue to improve. The policies will continue to evolve. And the next generation of AI experiences will likely be more transparent, more aligned with real-world value, and less dependent on shock and spectacle.
The Bad side of This AI Hype
On LI, I saw a viral n8n workflows hit 20K impressions and 100+ comments from CEOs. Founders loved it. CTOs asked for the template. VCs dropped fire emojis like it was Christmas. But here’s the part nobody bothered to ask: “Does this actually solve a real problem?” It didn’t. It was built to impress — not to fix. And I see this everywhere in the AI world: 47-node n8n chains with agents stacked on agents Dashboards that look like SpaceX mission control Automations so complex that the creator needs a 30-minute tutorial to explain their own “system” They get the applause. They get the shares. They get the dopamine hit. But the systems that actually add $20K, $50K, $100K+ per month? They look stupid simple. 3 nodes. One trigger. No animations. Nothing screenshot-worthy. Because the magic was never in the workflow. It was in understanding the damn problem. Remember when people said AI would “end designers”? It didn’t. AI amplified the good ones. It exposed who actually understood design vs who just knew how to use Figma. Same thing here. A flashy 40-step workflow isn’t a win. A boring system that removes a real bottleneck is. Here’s the actual split: If you want cheap applause: - Build a 40-node Rube Goldberg workflow - Add agents, sub-agents, webhooks, recursive logic, neon UI - Post it with “Comment AI and I’ll DM the template” - Enjoy the engagement If you want real outcomes: - Sit with the real workflow pain for 2 weeks - Strip away everything that’s unnecessary - Build the simplest possible system - Ship → test → iterate Let the revenue, not strangers, be your validation Most people in the AI space optimize for applause. Operators optimize for outcomes. So ask yourself — which one are you actually building for? Did you ever burn money/time on a “fancy AI system” that looked cool but solved nothing?

This hit a nerve in the best way. We are in a moment where complexity is being mistaken for capability. Flashy workflows, stacked agents, and animated dashboards feel impressive, but they often mask a missing foundation: a clearly defined problem worth solving. In every meaningful AI deployment I’ve seen, success didn’t come from how complicated the system looked. It came from clarity. Clarity of the workflow. Clarity of the bottleneck. Clarity of the outcome. And simplicity is not a lack of sophistication. It is the result of understanding. Organizations do not scale because someone built a 47-node automation that generates engagement on LinkedIn. They scale because leaders took the time to understand what was broken, what mattered, and what could be improved with the least friction. AI isn’t supposed to be a spectacle. It is supposed to be useful. It is supposed to reduce cognitive load, not create new operational debt. The flashiest systems will always get applause. The simplest systems will always get adoption. So before building the next “look what I made” workflow, we should be asking: - What pain point does this remove? - Is this the most straightforward path to value? - Will the people responsible for using it understand it? - And if no one applauded it publicly, would it still be worth building? Because the real test isn’t likes, impressions, or fire emojis. It’s whether the business runs better after implementation. AI isn’t the problem. Alignment is.
Where Are the Conversations About Governance, Ethics, and Authenticity?
After spending the past two days participating in the AI Advantage Summit, I noticed something that mirrors a growing gap across industries and organizations: we are talking about speed, productivity, and potential, but not responsibility. Artificial intelligence isn’t just a tool; it’s a system of influence. How we design, deploy, and oversee that system determines whether it elevates human potential or quietly erodes it. Yet, discussions about AI governance, ethical accountability, and authenticity in application remain largely absent from mainstream dialogue. As someone who has researched the organizational integration of generative AI, I view this as the critical next phase of the conversation. Governance isn’t about slowing innovation; it’s about creating the guardrails that allow innovation to be sustainable, transparent, and trusted. Without that foundation, even the most powerful AI tools risk becoming fragmented, biased, or misaligned with human values. If AI truly represents an advantage, shouldn’t that advantage also include integrity? I’d love to hear how others are addressing governance, ethical use, and authenticity in their AI journeys because the future of AI leadership depends on more than what we can automate. It depends on what we choose to be accountable for.

@Rondon Sarnik, currently, I would not use Replit at all, as their security is not where I feel comfortable, especially given the loss of their clients' data.

@Virginia Earl, I'm not in the Bootcamp, so I cannot comment on that, other than to say that I am not surprised, based on my experience during the AI Advantage Summit and my discoveries during my research for my dissertation.
