Am I the problem or Meta?
Probably me... Running kitchen renovation ads; video ad to instant form at £20/day. First 3 Days: - Running DCT with both angles; qualifying budget (in ranges: 10-15k, etc) + job timeframe - CTR (Link): 1.35% - CVR: 2.7% (1/36) - CPM £18.11 Spoke to Jimmy, we adjusted lead form to fully match the ad (calling out same painpoints, mention solution, etc) and only ran 1 angle Day 4 & 5: - Angle 2 - Outdated style, same video - Qualiftying are you homeowner + min budget (is your budget 10k+) - CTR (Link): 0.78% - CVR: 0% (0/14) Day 6 & 7: - Given other ads were terrible decided to change to different angle - Also tried making a new campaign instead as I thought it might help refresh things - CTR (Link): 0.44% - CVR: 0% (0/8) I'm aware I've made loads of changes in such a short span of time, and that can hurt the ads, but at the same time the ads seemed so out of KPI it felt unreasonable to let them keep running. Should I let things run? Remove 1 qualifying question? I've got not idea

Starting My SMMA – What Would You Focus on First?
I'm planning to start an SMMA Agency in April. From January–March I’ve been studying business fundamentals like offers, leads, and sales, and now I want to focus on mastering ads so I can start signing clients in Q2. If you were in my position starting from zero today, what would you focus on most in the first 6 months: • mastering ads • outreach & sales • building case studies • something else? Would really appreciate advice from people who have already done this.

@Steve Khan Things are ok, appointment booking has been a bit inconsistent, a little moreso due to the output rather than my own input. Have 1 client atm based in Dublin, things are going okay with him - in the home renovation niche.

@Steve Khan Yea he's a pretty pessimistic guy and his sales process isn't great as he only wants to do quotes over the phone/via Whatsapp first, and only does a visit after that. Of course its my duty to try tell him what to do and set expectations but its probably the biggest issue with working with tradesmen - a few people have confirmed this with me. Been doing it since January, how about you? You Irish yourself?
Criticise my Cold Calling Script
Cold calling results have been a little inconsistent for me recently, so trying to tighten things up (overall average been 2.5%). Trying to use a qualification question at the start of the call, so I can better tell if my pitch is the problem, or if the niche just doesn't need my service. I haven't tested this script yet, just looking for some feedback. Please do criticise it and tell me where I'm going wrong (if so). Also, if anyone has any cold calling resources/videos they'd recommend, please send them my way

@Emmett McCarry Question though, I know my opener is obviously outreach, but how does stating it's outreach work better? People just receive it better?

@Emmett McCarry Yea I've been cold calling UK as well recently. Might just branch out of bathroom/kitchen reno niche wise and try stay to Ireland as ABR has been pretty poor. Kinda a niche problem as well though, on avg 40% of the owners I speak to specifically say they're booked out months in advance, before I even pitch. So far Owner-Qualified % is like 16%. Also gonna take a look into ads I reckon since I have a case study from first client

Have 1 kitchen renovation client running meta ads. Has been reasonably successful and managed to land him a job for 28k in the first month (Feb) so he's kept going. Still always stressed about delivering for the next month, as I'm brand new to meta ads. Get 8-10 clients, getting consistent good results for them. And to have my client acquisition system dialed in and to be predictable. Right now client acquisition is tough. One issue is running out of leads to call, as I'm calling Ireland & England. Although ABR from cold calling is up and down, and I'm debating what other ways to try bring in meetings/clients. I feel I'm too new to run ads, but if a decent cold email system is expensive, part of me feels why not just run ads, as it's also my service.
