Running out of budget 2 leads
I’m working with a family friend he is a painting contractor he gave me the opportunity to run ads for him. I’m using my own budget I had 600 and I have burned through 300 of it a little less I have only gotten 2 leads of 2 ads the first campaign and the second that I tested a before and after and a video I called “ fast paced video test “. It first had 1 lead 4 link clicks with ctr of 1.52 but ones I saw it was spending 60 no leads I just turned it off I was wondering why in 2 days it Dident get any more leads even though it had early success first lead came almost 3 mins after the campaign got published. Second test ( same video fixed form ) ran for 2 days in a full day no leads ctr 1.09 clicks 4 no leads. I was thinking it could be the form because I made a mistake and it said optional for the phone number and email and also thought the offer is not good enough for people to actually go and fill up the form. So now I’m here making a new campaign about to test a similar ad since that one had decent success compared to my first ever campaign 173$ only for 1 lead. The new ad is a 299$ off their first project limited spots only for the first 10 people. I’ll leave the new creative at the bottom let me know what yall think I’ll appreciate any advice I want to be able to get results so I can start working with people and guarantee them good results as well and scale my agency. I’ve been doing 35$ a day most recent test broad

I'm not super experienced but the main thing I've noted is you haven't listed any pains at all. It's important to list out painpoints / reasons to buy your service. Urgency/time related offers only work if people want your service in the first place, so make them want it by reminding them of X pains your ICP usually has (what drives them to get their house painted?)

Just thought I owed you all an explanation on why I have been so quiet lately..

Tough one man, of course we all appreciate your videos but it's also about what's most fulfilling for you really. Regardless of what you do in future, all the right people will always be grateful for what you've done and shared up to now
Need advice — struggling to get first SMMA client, email outreach only
Hey everyone, Looking for honest feedback from people who’ve been here. My situation: 20 years old, working a 9-5 until end of August so outreach is limited to mornings, lunch and evenings as home late. Running a Meta ads agency targeting local contractors in Dublin, Ireland. Everything is built — website, booking system, scripts, lead list of 500+ businesses segmented by review count. Have some savings and wanna try scale asap before leaving 9-5. Case study: Ran a live test campaign before approaching anyone — 10 leads in 5 days at €7.50 per lead. No actual paying client yet. What I’ve done: 10 days of outreach. 5 to 8 cold emails per day manually. Got 1 reply on day 1 from a warm lead who said they’re interested but too busy to book a call. No other replies yet. (Want to increase this but trying to warm up first) My problems: No testimonials making it harder to close Limited to email only — is this enough or do I need other channels Not sure whether to automate now or wait for first client One warm lead interested but won’t book a call — how do I close without being pushy Worried peak season is passing while I’m still getting started My questions: -What should a cold email to local contractors actually consist of to maximise reply rate? (Also not even sure if email is the best outreach for them but based on my current situation I cant really cold call as im home late) -Should I automate outreach now or wait until I have real client results? -What’s the fastest way to land first client with no testimonials? -Is cold email alone enough or do I need to add DMs and calling? -Is SMS blasting to local contractors legal in Ireland under GDPR — anyone done this successfully here? -Anyone been in this exact position — what moved the needle? Thanks for the help it is really appreciated

@Steve Khan Been cold calling, gotten 5 clients across 2,700 dials, only 1 paying client. 1 client it's working well. Lost 1 client, 1 client still active and waiting on more results/job to come in, 2 clients getting started/launched in the next 2 weeks. Cold calling is rough though I have to say haha, I haven't an issue with the rejection but my ABR has been dipping from 2-3% to 1-2%. So I'm also looking into giving my own Meta Ads a try.

@Steve Khan The client it's working well for is okay, he's a kitchen renovator. Minor issues with just spending too much time on leads but we're coming up with different ways to try reduce it. I wouldn't say "scaling" is my issue. I'm still at the very start, learning service delivery and sales. So there's nothing stopping me. It's just about doing outreach, improving my sales skills, and improving on service delivery.
Following Jimmy's Business Advice Works...
Of course it's important to maintain outreach and hone in on one service, but I think Jimmy's advice on upselling/offering different things to clients can really help too. It's only small, but just sold my client a new website for €550 after 3 months of working together, arguably could've charged more but I'm happy with what I have. It'll be pretty basic so should only take a few hours too with a template + AI. This sale didn't take any long calls or convincing. We had a little bit of a strategic meeting, I just mentioned how we could upgrade and add some new features with a new website, along with how it could help improve/compliment our current Meta Ads, and he was happy to go ahead.
What Daily Budget is enough to test different creatives?
Been running only video creatives for my clients - which has been working in terms of Link CTR, so the ads + copy seem to be doing well, and the videos are pretty much iterations of the ad copy anyway. But I'm wondering should I be testing image creatives too? I'm sure the answer is yes, but so far my clients are spending £20/day, so I'm wondering is that enough to be testing different creatives? Or will it just be diluting an already small budget too much?
