Choosing the Right Product for Shopping Ads on a Limited Budget
Hi all, I’m currently running a Search campaign with a $20 daily budget and I’m about to start Google Shopping Ads with an extra $15/day. I have a landing page for a single brand that features multiple products. Given the limited budget, I’m not sure how to choose the right product(s) to feature in the Shopping campaign. What criteria or framework do you use to select products when budget is tight?

Hope you get a proper answer but I think the first step is to set up a Merchant Center account and link your catalog to it. Shopping ads work better when your catalog is connected to it and the product feed is optimized. @Austin LeClear has a wealth of videos and some exclusive course materials in this Skool's classroom for getting started.

@Siyam Sahin From the past interactions Austin has always recommended ideally a $50/day budget and at least 1-2 months of gathering data. Of course this is well outside your constraints. For a standard shopping campaign I would just advise starting with a very small budget like $5-15/day using your Merchant Center feed (I'm assuming you're on Shopify or WooCommerce or something) and have your catalog synced up. Since you only have 6 products at similar margins I would just lump them together and run that first. Just spend some time gathering data but try to launch with everything optimized, like titles, descriptions and product images. ChatGPT via o3 is really good at giving you recommendations cross checked with real world case studies. It's similar thinking to SEO where a well structured approach will give you better results. The great thing about Standard Shopping campaigns is that it will show you lots of keywords that Google tests on your behalf that you can use to optimize your search campaigns too. Google Ads is more of a long game requiring patience rather than constant adjustments. The first challenge will be for your Shopping campaign to generate enough good data then conversions where you can start optimizing returns on spend (like limiting your catalog). If you already have a good hunch which product will win you can do that. You can also try the old school 1 product per ad group strategy (even though I think it might be overkill).
Any Meta ads resources similar to this one?
Hi All. Austin's videos and this community have been a fantastic resource. Is anyone aware of a similar resource for Meta advertising? Jon Loomer has some decent content, but I'm looking for more YouTube/educational content, and a supportive community like this one would be a bonus. I appreciate your help, as always.

I can recommend Professor Charley for Meta ads. He's done over $1B in revenue $600 mil in ad spend but always keeps things simple and aligned with Meta's machine learning. He has a very active community with weekly live Q&As.
Integration of flashsales
How to you manage flashsales that only last a couple of weeks? Do you create new campaigns or do you use existing ones + extensions? Because Google Ads always needs a learnings phase Thank you!

Pmax
I have a pmax campaign that is rocking for 2 years , if i paused it for 2 days , will that make it need to be relearned ? cause sales dropped since i turned it back on

@Austin LeClear mentioned in one of his recent videos that he drops his budget down to $0.01 per day since it somehow tends to keep things humming along when you're ready to crank up the budget so I follow that advice now instead of pausing things if I want to bring it back.

September's AMA answers are now uploaded to YouTube! I go on a bit of rant with the first question by Tammy. Sorry to anyone where you might not feel I answered your question fully and instead start ranting - I'm prone to go down rabbit holes especially when riffing Q&As like this. Hope you all get some value and I hope to see you on October's AMA which I will post the thread for questions towards the weeks of the 21st. @Tammy Bridges @Vijay Kumar Pathipaka @Jacek Pyziak @Rob Sanders @Mohamed Tefridj @Lawrence Pryor @Ashley Longoria @Caro Rios @Alley Hassen @Tommy G @Nichol Low @Jami Leclerc @Planters Exchange @Matt McCormick @Dave Christie @Charisse M @Krushna Sharma @Gabriela Morosanu @Jim Hamiod @Amanda Coleman
