Cardigan…straight or shaped?
I’m curious to know what option knitters are choosing for the cardigan style sweater…straight or shaped? What is your thought process? Currently I’m thinking straight fit in order for the sweater to have a sweater to wear over a shirt (hanging open).

Neckband stitch pick up
I’m really having a hard time figuring out how to pick up the stitches to do the doubled-over neckband. Would there be any “issue” with the neckband if I did a “whip stitch” to tack it down? If this isn’t a good idea, can someone give me some suggestions on how to identify and pick up the stitches. Thank you for your input.

@Fleur Morris thank you…and I so understand. I find it easier to show someone a step than to try to type it all out. I’m sitting here whip stitching because I just couldn’t get the pick ups right. I am liking the way the collar is standing up and it still looks nice on the inside

Yoke not long enough
So finished clue 3 chart and yoke isn’t long enough. So I guess I’ll have to wait for clue 4 before splitting for the sleeves.
