Vision & Locomotion (Walking)... A seriously overlooked connection
Did you know that how your eyes move, especially quick-targeted movements (called saccades) can directly affect how you walk? A growing body of research, including the study attached here) highlight how impaired saccades are linked to unstable gait, increased fall risk, and reduced mobility... and they are worse after brain injuries, vestibular dysfunction, or neurological conditions; the majority of which, in my experience, almost always go un-detected. At Neuro Power, we take an integrated approach to brain and body performance regardless of age. Using a variety of brain exercises, we target saccadic reaction times, visual-motor coordination, and peripheral awareness. These sessions not only help improve visual processing speed, but also restore the neuro-motor connections essential for safe, confident walking, balance and yes, they even play a role in hormonal balancing for women! Why does this matter? Faster saccades = better reaction time Sharper visual-motor integration = improved balance Better gaze stability = safer gait and reduced fall risk ... and all of this = decreased threat perception; which = decreased startle reflex, which = decreased stress, which = Better NeuroMetabolic Responses = Rejuvenation!!!!! Whether you’re trying to balance your hormones, increase your health & fitness for powerful independent living or just want to optimize your movement and cognition, we can help retrain your visual and vestibular systems so your brain and body can move and function in sync again. We offer comprehensive NeuroMetabolic & Neurophysiologic brain exams to develop specific programs for your unique needs! Message us today for more info! There is hope and there is science behind your recovery! P.S. EVERYONE in this awesome group is striving to achieve very similar goals... you must take initiative and ask questions or promote group discussions to gain the most out of this. What are you currently struggling with that you would like us to clarifying on our next post or video?

Electrolytes
Aloha all!! Question: can you talk about electrolytes? Do we need to supplement? If so do you offer or recommend any particular one?
🎥 Motivation Monday: Imperfect Action > Endless Consumption
Hey Neuro-Powerful Ladies 💥—this one’s straight from the heart, no script, no polish, just me and a message I needed to share with you today. https://www.loom.com/share/babfc167802b450890a4d77ab5ab04a1?sid=ebc03330-e1a9-4aae-8340-14fc36b0bf03 ✨ We’re always scrolling… learning… consuming. But when do we actually apply it?Today’s reminder: Imperfect action is more powerful than the perfect plan you never act on. In this video, I talk about: - Getting out of the “personal development” hamster wheel - Why fumbling forward beats standing still - The power of asking for help + taking messy steps - If you needed a sign to do the thing, even if it’s not perfect—this is it. 🔥Let me know in the comments:👉 What’s one small action you’ve been avoiding that you’re going to take this week? #MotivationMonday #ProgressNotPerfection #NeuroPower4Women #TakeTheStep

💉 Botox & Your Brain: What You NEED to Know! 🧠
https://www.loom.com/share/3aa886be3d79473aa546b6007fb5c880?sid=8aa115c3-50e4-42b8-ad9a-bedffed33f6c Botox is everywhere—marketed as the ultimate beauty fix for fine lines and wrinkles. But did you know it’s actually a neurotoxin? 🤯 While it temporarily paralyzes muscles by blocking nerve signals, many people don’t realize the potential neurological implications—especially if you have a compromised blood-brain barrier due to inflammation, poor diet, or chronic stress. Even if Botox doesn’t cross into the brain directly, research shows it can still impact sensory feedback and emotional processing. Studies have found that Botox affects the amygdala (the brain’s emotion center) and can even change how your brain interprets sensory input from other parts of your body. That’s a big deal for women’s health and neurology! So before jumping on the Botox bandwagon, ask yourself: ✔️ Do I know how it really works in my body? ✔️ Have I considered the potential long-term effects? ✔️ Is there enough research proving its safety for the nervous system? Being informed is the key to making empowered health choices. 🧠💪 What are your thoughts on Botox and brain health?
