Guys, it has come to my attention that some members are personally PMing other members. Now this could be genuine, but like the members who got contacted quite rightly said to me.. Why personally PM? The community is where members should be asking questions. As we know, we do not want this community to be like facebook or twitter, where spammers and these loser keyboard warriors think they can come on and bully etc - THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN UNDER OUR WATCH GUYS!!! I know we are all keeping an eye out for spammers in the community, but now please be aware of anyone personally contacting you via PM. And if you feel like you are getting spammed via your PM, please let me or my team know ASAP and will will immediately ban them!

What’s the silliest comment you have heard made about a gk or to a gk?

A few weeks ago my boys team played a team and they had a heavy loss it was a cup game and the boys we’re absolutely gutted, now in this game I watch my boy lose his composure, torture himself mentally and his mindset was not on form the more frustrated he got the more mistakes he made and the team were just the same. It was the first game I had seen him play where he was not ok and so we decided we had to work on mindset! I watch the videos on mindset I took advice from this group and his keeper coaches Fast forward to yesterday they played the same team the difference was unbelievable! The team as a whole up their game but for my boy the difference was his own mindset - we spent the last few weeks working on this, coming up with a strategy that works for him! The boys went on to win the game and the opposition coach actually asked if it was the same team they played a few weeks ago! I guess my point is mindset is massive for keepers and I have learnt that along the way but with help and advice they can become mentally strong and it makes a whole world of difference to their gameplay!
