Pass the tacos 🌮
Hi everyone 👋🏻 Just joined a day ago - from Vancouver, Canada. I started working out about 8 years ago after not being a very active person for the first 40 years of my life. Since then I’ve been gradually adding new habits to improve my health - like tracking food, tracking steps etc. My main fitness goal is to decrease my body fat % and maintain it long term. Feels so easy to gain weight these days! If on death row, my last meal would likely be tacos 🌮 YUM!

I'm here because after my gastric sleeve surgery I want to loose weight the right way and become as strong as I can to start a new chapter in my life. Mannn. It's only 3PM and I've eaten 80% of my calories for the day 😄
The old me would be super stressed that I hit 1,900 cals at 3pm. My goal is 2,300, which means I only have 400 calories left from now until bed time 🥱 Old me would've stressed out. Worried about "what if I overeat?!" I might, but I also might not. 1900 cals worth of 100% whole foods, 153 gr of protein down, 28gr of fiber, 2.5 liters of water. I am pretty damn satisfied. I realize now why old me was stressed out. Because I was eating all these "low calorie snacks" that were void of nutrients and fiber. I was rarely satisfied. And that's why I'd be raiding the pantry by 9pm every night. So... what am I going to have? No idea yet. My friends are coming over to hang out. If I remember i'll snap a pic and send it in this post 💪 Random life stories by Darren.

I can relate!! On some days now I enter all my projected food consumption in my app in the morning, for the whole day, so I can ensure I spread things out and don’t get hangry at 3pm.
