Only Jorden would do this (Chat on/off switch is live)
I told @Jorden Williams we really need to add the ability to have a killswitch to have the AI Off regardless of which assistant is connected to the assitant. I know how hard it is to manage multiple assistants and figuring out which is live or not. My biggest gripe from customers is them knowing if the ai is on or off. So here's jorden, who told us to hold down the fort while he's at the hospital (baby's on the way) I followed up to ask if he added this switch yet and then he says one sec. Now I'm picturing him holding his wife's hand who's squeezing the life out of him while the other is fumbling around connecting to the hospital's 2mbs internet. 2 minutes later he says it's done. I test, it works, of course. Then i said, you know it would be nice to have it say in the logs if the ai is on or off too. 1 more minute. Its done. So there you have it If the AI_off tag is on the contact record, then the chat will not be responded to by the AI. Oh, and if you want it to work for phone calls too? I have the simplest workflow to show how. Also pray for Jorden, Wife, and baby that everything goes smoothly. Happy Sunday everyone.
