The Lesson a Plant Manager Taught Me About the Value of Marketing
Years ago, a plant manager told me something that completely changed the way I look at business: “Rodolfo, your company is excellent and you’ve provided us with service for more than 10 years. But inside the plant, nobody knows you. You need to start working more on your marketing and make yourselves known to the people.” That comment opened my eyes. It’s not enough to do great work or have loyal clients. If people don’t know you, your business becomes invisible inside organizations and in the market. This experience left me with three powerful lessons: 1. Quality is not enough: You can be excellent at what you do, but if you don’t communicate it, you don’t exist. 2. Visibility opens doors: The more people know who you are and what you offer, the more opportunities will come your way. 3. Marketing is an investment, not an expense: It multiplies the years of hard work and takes your business to another level. Many entrepreneurs think marketing is secondary, but the truth is it’s the bridge that connects your value to the right people. Today I’ll leave you with this question: Is your business truly visible, or is it only known by a few?

Such a great lesson and directly applicable to community owners. I see so many about pages that have no picture or information about the owner on it. Why would anyone join a “community” when they can’t see or know anything about the leader of it? You have to put yourself out there and the world will reward you for it.

Day 2 - Preparing for the expo
I just spent nearly 8 hours sending out meeting requests for the upcoming expo. Most of the companies I reached out to are big players, so now it’s a matter of waiting for their buyers to review my information. So far, I’ve sent details to over 50 different companies, and I’ve already received 2 confirmed appointments, which is a huge win in my niche, since most of these companies work with multi-year contracts.

@Rodolfo Ramos Not from a sales standpoint. I've manned some booths at big conventions, mostly for content and marketing.

Project Skool update 6 - Campaign 1 is over, next steps
So Week 1 of the first campaign is done. Interesting stuff, i will now work on improving my next ads based on this initial input. Your Audience Profile: - Age: The strongest group was 65+ and 55–64. (Not really what i was expecting.) - Locations: Florida (45.3%), Illinois (21.7%), California (17.7%), Texas (9.9%). - Where they saw the ad: 65.5% on Facebook Feed (mobile), followed by instream video with 19.7%. Practical translation: Your ad did catch attention (good CTR), but it didn’t connect with the right audience or you didn’t capture the interested visitors on your landing page. a) More Precise Targeting - Age: Focus on 25–44 (digital users actively seeking financial growth). - Interests: Target Robert Kiyosaki, T. Harv Eker, personal finance, financial freedom, Alex Hormozi, entrepreneurship. - Locations: Start with Florida, Texas, California, Illinois (high Hispanic presence + proven interaction). b) Optimize Your Offer - Use an Irresistible Offer: “First 100 members free.” - Highlight quick wins: “Get out of debt in 30 days without cutting your lifestyle.” - Add social proof: testimonials or success stories. c) Ad Adjustments - Direct CTA: “Join free now” instead of “Access the community.” d) Landing Page Optimization - Clear headline: “Transform Your Finances in 30 Days.” - Simple bullet-point benefits. - Strong single CTA button (sign up). - Remove distractions—only one action. e) Retargeting Strategy - Create a custom audience of clicks without sign-up. - Show them ads with proof + testimonials. - Example: “You’ve seen our community, now take the step. Over 50 people are transforming their finances. Join free.” As the freemium model is just around the corner i will consider launching again an ad with this suggested Chatgpt changes in order to try to do some upsells within the community. I have updated my ads, my about page and will be launching again with this changes. Wish me luck!

@Rodolfo Ramos yeah I did an ad run the other day for basketball coaching and it sent it to like 75% women… had to quickly change that. As much as we’d love more women to be in our community, it’s 90% men. So…
How i create fb ads part 3
So last week I updated an ad that was not converting and I used the simpler image I could get of one of our most sought after products. Which gave me incredible results far beyond what i expected and a ROI on more than I could imagine. Just in one day i got 8 messages, from there i made 2 sales. So I spent like $10 usd and made it back multiple times again.

Killer. Isn’t it funny how just regular pictures seem to convert the best?
