Things could feel a bit off-track or slower than expected. Stay mindful of where you may be forcing control or, on the flip side, avoiding responsibility. What do we need to do this week? Reversed Chariot - Let’s flip this card upright. Move forward. Follow your intuition, even if there’s no clear map. Step outside your comfort zone while staying grounded and balanced. This is about bringing both energies together - action and flow, masculine and feminine, logic and intuition. What chakra should we lean into this week? Sacral Chakra - 14 - Breaking this down: 1 + 4 = 5 = Change. There may be a shift needed in how you view money, spending, earning. This is creative energy. The koi fish in this card mirror Pisces energy and yin/yang energy - flow, balance, and trust (just like the push with the Chariot card!). Why are Easter eggs, bunnies, and lambs all symbols of this springtime holiday? 🥚🐰🐑 Many Easter traditions have fascinating histories. But what do these symbols actually mean? The rabbit symbolism had its origin in pre-Christian fertility lore, while the hare was the Egyptian symbol of fertility. The ancient Greeks thought that rabbits could reproduce as virgins, and in the early medieval times, the rabbit became associated with the Virgin Mary and commonly appeared in medieval art. However, the Easter Bunny, who visits children on Easter morning, was an invention of German Protestants; the Osterhase, or Easter Hare, brought eggs and sweets to good children, in the same way that Santa Claus brought gifts to well-behaved youngsters. The Easter Bunny followed German immigrants to the American colonies in the 18th century, and the folklore spread across the United States. Initially, children fashioned nests for their Easter bunnies out of bonnets, hats, or boxes; eventually, these became the colorful Easter baskets that we use today! Such a great day for an in-person connect for those in the local DMV area. The conversations, shared experiences, and openness in the room really set the tone. If you feel called next time, bring something in and swap it out. I personally donated 5 decks and 1 book, and went home with 2 decks and 2 books and excited to jump in!
