Career Coach Failure or a valuable personal life lesson?
I don't post often here, but I know the community is valuable. Here's my 2026. I am sunsetting my coaching business. I've dedicated five years to career coaching and reverse recruiting. My system works but I am not a marketer or a soloentrepreneur. I'm burnt out and sunsetting my business. The feast or famine lifecycle has really killed my drive. I've seen other career coaches who have big social presences, it's just not something that I can truly commit too. What I love, though. Is the job search, multiple job searches, teaching people how to do the job search, and building scalable systems that look more like a Go-To-Market strategy with business development, sales, and dual engagement outreach systems that are curated to the individual. I absolutely love building AI-tools that help the career seeker. What I do not love about this space. Digital marketing, building funnels and websites, cold-sales, and living on Instagram/Social media. My military experience lends myself to be a person on a team building something awesome rather than "being the visionary" or brand for the company. I'm happy to have conversations with the community about my reverse recruiting systems and/or I would BE very interested in working with a team running reverse recruiting operations. Most likely I'm accepting an inferior offer working with the State of Massachusetts and will continue building AI-bots and tools on the side. Happy to connect here or reach out to me below. @Daniel Botero That would be great - I am very interested in PT opportunities. I do still believe there's a great market for CC's to sell reverse recruiting products or use top platforms to empower their clients.
Request: Go High Level Marketer
Hi all, I'm looking for a GHL marketer to do an audit of my GHL software stack and look at paid advertisements. I'd love to work with someone in the community but I'm open to all referrals. Cheers, Bryan Dyer Hirejourne.com

Career Coach for CFO's?
I know a Chief Financial Officer who is seeking a career coach who specializes in working with CFO candidates. Please let me know if this is for your expertise, or if you can recommend someone. Thank you!

I've always wanted to create a career coaching marketplace. With a high curation on projects, size, programs, etc.
💡Don't wait until 2025 to start doing something
I read something today that kept me thinking about the importance of taking action NOW. At the end of the day, the only thing we have is the present. And I guess some of you (and here I include myself) may be thinking about the goals for next year... But what about the things we can start doing today? Let's think about something we want to get done before 2025 starts. What's something we can start doing now? It can be personally or professionally. Putting it into words will help us commit to it and hold each other accountable. ⬇️ Leave a comment with something you will start implementing or continue doing this week that will help you achieve your goals.

@Akash Shrestha Keep ChatGPT up ---> use the audio component and run ideas through it. I created a ChatGPT idea bot. Even created this silly Nacho Cooking device. I was eating nachos and the chips either had too much cheese or not enough, so I thought about nachos on a three-layer tray that goes into the over and cooks better. It's a good way to harness the idea fairy without using a ton of mental horsepower.
Bravo Zulu
@Daniel Botero In the Navy we had a saying "Bravo Zulu" for someone that goes above and beyond. I want to give a shoutout to Daniel for jumping on an audit call with me. He showed that I was giving way too much of my time in the early (pre-selection phase) of a client rather he offered that we should be doing masterclasses and webinars to create that pre-selection phase. I HATE webinars and masterclasses, especially because I have a "face for radio." My partner said that it was a great idea and that I should be doing that instead of the 20+ low conversion calls that I'm doing monthly. So, I'm working on the webinar and my own self-defeating attitude towards video. I look forward to working with Daniel and his team next month!
