4 Reasons Why You’ll Never Have a Profitable Agency
(And why I’m finally showing you the fix) Let’s start by ditching the stuff you always hear about: • “Pick a niche.” • “Create an irresistible offer.” • “Learn how to sell.” Yeah, yeah. Those matter. But it’s what everyone says. As an agency owner, even when I was doing all this right… … nothing used to frustrate me more than this: Putting in a full month of work. Landing clients. Doing everything “right.” And then looking at my paycheck… …only to realize it was NOWHERE close to what I thought I’d make. The money went everywhere else. I was the last one to get paid. I was working like a dog… And getting paid like a monk! It felt like I was running in place. So… Here’s some stuff I figured out along the way. 1. Your Prices Are Too Low Despite what the “SaaSpreneurs” tell you, you don’t have to charge like a monk. When you charge too little, you get hit twice: Hit #1: You don’t bring in enough revenue to ever feel profitable. Hit #2: Cheap buyers don’t value what they buy… so they churn faster. Low price → low respect → low retention → low profit. The irony! You think you’ll make more… You’ll have to do less… But there you are sucking on a big… fat… juicy fart. Broke as a joke. Get your price point starting at $997/mo, that’s a good start. 2. Your “Product” Is Way Too Complex You’ve “fiddled” your product into oblivion. Instead of delivering one clear outcome your clients actually want, you’ve built a monster: • Too many features • Too many steps • Too many automations • Too many moving parts It’s the HighLevel problem: 600+ features when the client only needs 2. You know how you feel when you login and you see all that crap everywhere? It feels… yucky. Clients aren’t selling it… They’re using it! And paying you for the pleasure! Most churn starts the second you show them your brain child. Complexity kills excitement. Complexity kills retention. Complexity kills margins. Focus… Simplicity… These creates profit. 3. You Don’t Have a Sales Acquisition System

☝️Why You Might Want to Try Prompt Chaining
Instead of single prompts… If you’re really trying to get the best output, think about “Prompt Chains”. Here’s why: 1. Clarity = Better Outputs A single, broad prompt… (like “Brainstorm 5 offers for a chiropractor”) Gives the AI too much freedom. Which means.. it kinda guessing on your context, audience, and goals. No bueno. A chain prompt breaks that into smaller… Sequential steps. So the model builds layer by layer (context → goal → ideas → refinement) Result: More relevant, realistic, and usable ideas. 2. Depth & Creativity Chaining forces the model to think in stages… Just like a strategist would. Instead of spitting out surface-level ideas… It digs deeper into motivators, objections, and psychology before generating solutions. Result: Offers and copy that actually convert, not just “clever” ideas. 3. Consistency Across Clients If you run an agency, you want repeatable quality. A chain prompt acts like a template system… (ala UpHex M.O) The same thinking process works for any niche (chiropractors, med spas, roofers, etc.). Result: Reliable, scalable outputs your team can replicate. 4. Easier Iteration Because each step isolates one part of the creative process… You can edit just that piece. (e.g., change audience tone or offer type) Which means… You don’t have to redo the entire prompt. Nice! Result: Faster creative testing and easier refinement. Muy nice! 5. Control Without Limiting Creativity Chaining gives the model guardrails… Not handcuffs. It still generates fresh ideas… But now they’re aligned with your marketing intent and strategy. Result: Creative outputs that crush. Starting to sound pretty good, eh? Now… How about a trick to help you one your journey to AI mastery? This video shows you one easy trick… And BAM! Chain prompt heaven! All you gotta do is ask “The Agency Prompt Engine” for a little help! Want the Prompt Engine? Comment “UpHex Rocks” and I’ll get it to ya! Your move. Sam
