Another day to get better!
Hey family! Haven't posted in a minute but I'm still grinding and pushing. Good workout this morning! Warm up: Mobility stretches and 100 push-ups (1 set of 40 and 2 sets of 30) Workout (w 20 lbs kettlebell) -Turkish get ups w(2 each side) then 20 push-ups -2 sets of 10 reps kettlebell swings then 10 push-ups after each set -2 sets of 10 kettebell cleans(10 reps both arms each set)then 10 push-ups after each set -2 sets of 10 single rack squats(10 reps both arms each set) the 10 push-ups after each set. -2 set of 10 kettlebell push press.(10 reps both arms each set) the 10 push-ups after each set. -2 sets of 10 kettlebell clean, squat, to press( 10 reps both arms each set) after first set, 10 push-ups and finished with 20 push-ups after the second set. Good workout, good sweat. Still fairly new to kettlebells so give me a good chance to work on each movement.

@Ian Clardy trying to get back to pull-ups. Right now I can do banded pull-ups but only do those at the gym I have at my parent's house. At my apartment I do have a doorway pull up handles but not ready for unassisted. I'll get there.

@Ian Clardy yes definitely! I've been doing those on Wednesdays. Doing pull-ups,squats and push-ups like the. 3 sets of 6 reps so far. Each rep, i count down from 10. On the pull-up bar i count down 5-7

Little thing but its good for the confidence. Was at the beach 2 days ago with some buddies, having a great time throwing a football and this guy walks by and just says "damn bro save some ladies for the rest of us" 3 Weeks into working with Ian in the muscle mentorship and you really can't put a price on that. Lets go crush it again today

Morning meditation. Today's theme:Thoughts
Every morning I push myself to wake up at 5:30 AM to meditate and journal some thought full self-talk take aways. I thought I'd share. Hopefully it might help someone to push forward. Respect family 💯 Journal: No one said it would be easy to get where I want to go. It's going to take laser like focus. Put blinders on from distractions. Remember whether I am willing or not will, I win every time. I mentally made that choice to do what pushes me forward or stay in the trap of habits that essentially hold me back. Be mindful of that in my thoughts today. Ask myself, AM I WILLING? HELL YES!!
