Day 9:
Gal 6:4 - “Pay careful attention your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.” Comparison is the thief of joy and sometimes it’s easy to see how well someone else is doing instead of focusing on the path God has set for you. God has given us all our own story, our own pace, and our own destination. It’s important that we not look at someone’s peak and compare it to our lives when we may be in the valley. Or vice versa. One excuse I have told myself time and time again is that I don’t have time, but in all honestly it’s I don’t prioritize. I know that when I plan my day ahead and get up on the first alarm instead of hitting snooze I am prioritizing my time with God, my personal time, and family time.

Day 6
Playing catch up a little bit. What an awesome feeling it is to be reminding that we are made in God’s image. It’s a reminder that no matter what mistakes we make or what obstacles we face there is no such thing as failure. Why? Because our God does not fail!

Day 4: Audio vs. Video
Happy Saturday! Part A says that, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young.” I think that part of the verse is powerful because it reminds us that age is not a limiting factor. I've seen it often that people are often looked over bc an elder in the church or someone with more “experience” in a work setting overlooks or doesn’t respect someone bc of their age. The best way to show God’s power and your capability is to lead with action and be an example for the person next to you.

Day 3: Submission of Strength
Good morning Fellas, It’s interesting that today is the first day I am getting to this devotion. My apologies for the late start. Those in the chat that know me know that I have a Type A personality and struggle to let things go that are out of my control. Over the last 16 months, my wife and I have been trying to sell our home. I struggled for months to just give it ALL to God. I would pray, but I was in a constant battle with myself to fully give it to God. I was in a constant mental state of “What if….”. This week has been a moment of Gods timing aligning with my submission bc we sold our house this week. I can honestly say that as hard as this season of life has been for my family, I needed this time to grow my faith.
