Day 9:
Gal 6:4 - “Pay careful attention your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.”
Comparison is the thief of joy and sometimes it’s easy to see how well someone else is doing instead of focusing on the path God has set for you. God has given us all our own story, our own pace, and our own destination. It’s important that we not look at someone’s peak and compare it to our lives when we may be in the valley. Or vice versa.
One excuse I have told myself time and time again is that I don’t have time, but in all honestly it’s I don’t prioritize. I know that when I plan my day ahead and get up on the first alarm instead of hitting snooze I am prioritizing my time with God, my personal time, and family time.
