🗣️CYC🐬 🎭 Today Haddie (guest) showed us what it looks like when performance ends and presence begins. She shared how, early in her career, she thought she had to play polished, palatable roles to be accepted until the mask that once protected her became the very thing suffocating her. 💥The turning point? Realizing that being half of herself to be loved was costing her peace, opportunities, and identity. Her first brave step was radical honesty. Showing up in her full essence, no edits, no filter, no fake character. And the result wasn’t rejection... it was alignment. She reminded us that being yourself isn’t risky... it’s the reason real connections happen. And when she laughed at her old people-pleasing self? We all laughed with her… because we’ve all been there. 🌀 This week’s CYC was a full-circle moment about story, identity, and unfiltered truth. We talked about embracing your story; not the highlight reel or the pain-drenched version, but the whole thing. Where you come from, what you’ve inherited, and how your roots gave you rhythm and resilience. This isn’t about erasing your past, it’s about authoring your future. Whether your heritage is braided with trauma, culture, or contradiction, it’s yours and you get to decide how the next chapter reads. We don’t heal by hiding. We heal by writing and reading our truth out loud without shame. Innercise : Write YOUR STORY! 1. Chapter title (turning point in your life) 2.Victims story (what you believed initially) 3.Growth orientation (what positively came of it) 📝 No session next week, but your soul work is simple and strong: 💥What are the big moments in your life coming up (events, opportunities, relationships, transitions) that you want to show up for in your natural, fully-present state? Write them down. Prepare for them. Because when fun isn’t filtered through foundation, it’s just another escape in a prettier costume. But when you're rooted, you can celebrate without self-sabotage.
