My latest haul of attars from Indra Sugandh Bhandar. Indra Sugandh Bhandar is a fragrance house located in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India. Attars are concentrated perfume oils centered on the creamy, woody, sweet, earthy aroma of sandalwood. 100% alcohol free For years I sought Mysore Sandalwood oil after running across Mysore Sandal Soap. Mysore Sandal Soap was my travel bar of soap. I would always get compliment on the scent. However, strict conservation rules made pure Mysore sandalwood oil scarce and tightly controlled (especially for export). It turns out policy relaxations for cultivation in 2022 significantly eased restrictions. On the right: Kasturi musk. Chandan sandalwood.
