The Death of "Fake it 'til you make it."
Can we all agree that "Fake it 'til you make it" is terrible advice? In the world of social media, everyone can see through the inauthenticity now. The new way is to own your journey. Be transparent about your struggles, your failures, and your learning process. That’s how you build real authority. People don't want to follow a "guru" with a perfect life. They want to follow a "guide" who knows the way. Do you agree that authenticity is the new "marketing hack"? Let's discuss.

Authenticity is good as long as it doesn't sound negative but rather encouraging.
Identifying the "Time Thief"
"Either you run the day or the day runs you!" We all have a "Time Thief"—that one activity that sucks up two hours before we even realize it. What’s your biggest Time Thief? (Mine is definitely scrolling through "quick" research that turns into a rabbit hole!)

@Shawn Ziem Before I moved my best and most productive time was between midnight and 3am. Now I'm living with my girlfriend on a temporary basis that is impossible. I will get back into a good routine once I have my own place again. I know I keep saying that but it really will make a huge difference.

@Shawn Ziem Talks to me and wants me to do jobs for her and her family. She has Fibromyalgia so struggles with a lot of things the rest of us take for granted. Even making a cup of tea or coffee is an effort for her.
Fear is a Compass
DWYK Ch. 6 - “But here’s the good news: fear is also a compass. The presence of fear usually points to the edge of your current comfort zone. It shows up right before a breakthrough. The key isn’t to eliminate fear, it’s to master your relationship with it. You do that by exposing it, challenging it, and moving forward anyway.” After over 23 years as a civil servant, I’m challenging my fears and taking on a new job in the private sector. This new job comes with many uncertainties, but ultimately it will help me grow and provide me the flexibility I need to do so. Wish me luck! 🍀

I agree with Ray, it's not about luck, it's about facing fears and taking on a new and exciting challenge. You will be fine.
The Legacy of Help
"...Perseverance is power..." Authority isn't given; it’s earned in the trenches of helping. True leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room; it’s about being the most helpful. When you commit to a legacy of help, you don't need a fancy title; people will automatically turn to you. What is one long-term "impact goal" you have for your career that has nothing to do with money?

Training
I am currently working my way through the LeadsLeap training in the classroom as I have been a member for several years but never set it up properly. I'm sure Rays training will help me to do that which, in turn, will help me to grow and to promote the Skool communities.

I am a retired painter and decorator who has discovered what a brilliant place Skool is to connect and converse in order to learn and grow.
