Getting excited!
Am I on the right track? Or do I need to go back to the drawing board?

@Susie Moore I think they look very good together!
Pre-washing your yarn?
Hi everyone! So excited to join this group and the MYAL, my first. One question about using high contrast colors - I am anxious about the dark colors of Color C bleeding when I block with a very light Color A/D, especially as some of my yarns are made by smaller producers. Do you have special suggestions to avoid that? Still working to identify my colors, but anticipate high contrast no matter what I choose. Thank you!

I also pre wash the handdyed darker colors. It took me 4 times a rinse to get the water clear 🙈
Colour group A (main)
Anyone else a bit nervous of using different yarns for A as the main colour in case it looks odd/messy? My head says keep main colour same all through then swap and change others...

Love the Mistery to go with this ♥️
Help choosing colours please
Hi, I’ve got some merino75%\nylon25% left overs in fingering I could hold double to hit gauge. I’ve got some different colours I could do with your help to chose please. I’m pretty sure the slightly off-white will be colour A but I’m not sure about the rest of the colour palette. There is a purple-leaning brown that knitted up lovely that I think could pair with a dusty blue, a more vibrant light purple or a dusty rose colour and then I’ve also got a lovely light green I could use as a blending colour with either the forest green or a beautiful marled green/blue. I’ve taken black and white photos for contrast so think I’m ok there. Which are your favourites please? I’m not great with colours generally and would appreciate some more pairs of eyes and opinions but I’m leaning more to the last picture (marled green and light green)

I love the combo with the dusty rose, very elegant.

So many options….but I think this will be my choise. They are all fingering weight so have to knit yarns together. Love to start and to see all your knits! Warm regards from the Netherlands.
