Decide To Start Living
I saw this image and it really got me thinking. I’m a massive advocate of the idea of try everything first. Before you do something you can’t take back, try everything first. Try everything first. That advice has save my life multiple times. And the more I share it, the more lives it saves. But this image has prompted something new, what is the equivalent of ‘try everything first’ when it comes to thriving. When it comes to choosing to live a life that is worth living, to become self actualised, to follow our dreams, to do what we were put here to do. Let me know what advice you could give someone to prompt this sort of emotional response.

@Zachary Phillips I love this take and I never thought of it from this perspective before to be honest. Goals from a place of depression / low mood vs goals from a place of contentment. I wonder how that shifts in people. I might need to make an adjustment to my bucketlist challenge. although, I would add. As we grow our goals and dreams and priorities change, and sometimes it might just be the one small goal with a dedicated approach that will help us move out of where we are. I guess thats where breathwork could help cause you can change your state very quickly which could open up more chance for more ideas... What are your thoughts? also congrats on 102 members!

@Zachary Phillips I love this response... I am a advanced breathwork, trauma and nervous system informed facilitator. I love the transformational aspects of breathwork but I am just like you, I actually coach and personally work on the down regulation breathworks. I rarely go into transformational. Upregulation is handy (without transformation) to boost energy, and get people / clients out of a funk. It's a handy tool if used correctly. But the wider (I'll transform you) approach I think is too much, proper, safe and consistent approach to mental fitness including the breath is the most important part. I would be interested in Psychadelics for the experience and something to learn from... but not as a hope to transform into to anything or have any life turning realisations. If that makes sense.
100 Members! *(almost)
We are almost at 100 members! Just want to thank everyone for joining in and contributing, and to remind us all to share and connect in the community, to offer and ask for support, to share what practices you are doing and what is arising as well as resources, quotes, or insightful content that is helping you to explore your inner world and heal. If you know anyone that would appreciate this community, invite them to join! Soon I will post a link to book a time to start the community podcast up fully - interviewing members of the community to explore who they are, what they are working on, and really get to connect with one another. Stay tuned! :)

Guided Meditation: Leaves On A Stream
Was just introduced to the this 10 minute guided meditation by Milk & Honey mental health (on YouTube) and thought that you may appreciate it. It begins with a visualisation of a river and reframes thoughts as leaves that we observe and let go. I found it helpful to quiet a busy mind and encourage calm. Also, If you have any resources you would like to share, please do! https://youtu.be/exLaebgFO_8?si=zgNatcL1AhGvZc8E
