CONSISTENCY (That Quiet Faithfulness)
If you don’t see results, you get tired. If you don’t feel anything, you start to doubt. If something doesn’t move you, you discard it. If something doesn’t motivate you, you abandon it. Maybe today you feel like you’re not moving forward, like practicing feels hard, like you’re repeating the same thing, like you always end up back at the same point, like the silence feels empty. And then comes the day when the temptation to leave appears. To leave the practice, to leave the silence, to leave yourself. But if you stay, even if you don’t see, don’t feel, don’t understand, something begins to fall into place inside you, something begins to be cleansed, something becomes more true. Changes don’t happen all at once. They happen slowly, with consistency, with faithfulness. Transformation is already happening even if you can’t see it. What truly transforms you is not the intensity with which you live things, but how faithfully you remain in them. Roots grow in the dark, not on the surface. What today feels barren will be support tomorrow. What today feels useless will be a foundation tomorrow. Nothing lived with faithfulness is ever lost. Don’t try to feel more—try to be faithful. If today you’re tired, don’t force yourself to feel. Just stay. Breathe. Remain in silence.

Hi Santi, I have read your ‘ piece of creation ‘ 3x. It is so perfect for this community. You do have the ability to translate EXPERIENCE into ART! I would expect more of this in the future🙏🙏.
Connection between foot strength and knee pain
This is a moment where I wonder what came first, the knee pain or the lack of connection and strength of my feet while Im generally living my life. Taiji walking was like a lightbulb turning on for me because it totally hurt my right knee! I realized that I adapt my movements to not trigger the knee pain and that has a definite effect on the practice. I am wondering if I focus more on strengthening my feet during my everyday life if my knee might improve? (I played competitive soccer for many years so there's a lot of wear and tear on an aging body also). Anyone relate or have some experience with this?

Adam is right. Weak or blocked or stiffed muscles around the knees will cause pain especially when you walk. Per my experience, when a particular knee aches on the right side, I look for the stiffed muscle on that side either up or down(thigh and legs) and put a pressure on that part. You will know if you hit the right spot for it hurts like crazy. Continue pressing(not massaging) until the pain goes away. Like wise if the knee pain is on the left, look for the spot on the left side of the leg and thigh that hurts when you put pressure on it. The process may take a few days depending on how stiff the muscle is. I have used this method all my life all over my body and works all the time. Hope this helps.

Rooted Alchemy family, we just surpassed 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. Wow. Back in August, who would have thought we would build a Tai Chi community of over 100,000 people practicing together from all over the world. This journey has been incredibly humbling, and we’re deeply grateful to every single one of you who has been here, practicing, watching, and growing with us. We’re excited for what the future holds and grateful for your patience as we continue building intentionally behind the scenes. Just know that we’re still early, and there is so much more to come. And a huge thank you to Sonny for practicing, teaching, and learning with such depth and integrity that it naturally spread far and wide. Stay the course.

I have to add that Qigong offers very gentle, slow and fluid movements focused on breathe and energy.

@John Cooper It is very nice of you to say that, really! As a parent, I support Sonny &Maya a 110% for what they do and doing a good job to build an awareness for holistic well-being for the community. Besides it helps me with my biggest problem……getting old😂😂😂.
Tai Ji fundamentals
I had a busy day today. It is late in the evening and have taken part in the Tai Ji fundamentals video. I was so relaxed that at one point I felt myself falling asleep stood up. The background music and Sonny's voice aided greatly to the sense of disconnecting from the world. I am so pleased that I found this app.

Hi, I am Seny, Sonny’s mother-in-law and oldest student, who needs a lot of energy🤪, so I do a lot of qi gong to be able to do my arts & crafts.
