How to Load Your Peptide Pen: Step-by-Step Guide (Updated Video) πŸ’‰
Peptide pens are becoming more popular, and when I made the first video, I wasn’t fully happy with it. So here’s a complete tutorial β€” part 2. I’ll be traveling to Texas soon, so this felt like a good time to put it together. Loading a peptide pen properly is crucial for accurate dosing and maintaining peptide stability. Here's a comprehensive guide to get you started safely. What You'll Need: - Your empty peptide pen - Reconstituted peptide solution (already mixed) - Sterile syringe with needle - Alcohol wipes - Clean workspace Step-by-Step Process: 1. Prepare Your Workspace - Wash hands thoroughly - Clean your work surface - Gather all supplies within easy reach 2. Sanitize Everything - Wipe down the peptide pen cartridge area with alcohol - Clean the peptide vial rubber stopper - Allow to air dry for 30 seconds 3. Draw the Peptide Solution - Remove cap from your sterile syringe - Insert needle through the rubber stopper of your peptide vial - Turn vial upside down - Slowly draw the solution into the syringe (avoid creating bubbles) - Remove needle from vial 4. Load the Pen - Remove the cartridge cap from your pen - Carefully insert the needle into the cartridge fill port - Slowly inject the peptide solution - Remove the needle and replace the cartridge cap 5. Prime the Pen - Attach a new pen needle - Dial a small dose (usually 0.1-0.2ml) - Point pen upward and press the injection button - You should see a small drop appear at the needle tip Pens Supplies (Code Derek): https://www.refillpen.com/?ref=DEREK

@Lucia Harris you do not have to but it will not hurt anything
πŸ–ŠοΈ Peptide Calculator Updated for Pen Cartridges
Really quick update for the reconstitution calculator on peptideprice.store I got asked if I could add a 3ml syringe size to the reconstitution calculator to account for people researching with pens. This is now live so you can use it for 3ml pen cartridges. Same easy process as always. πŸ‘‰ https://peptideprice.store/calculator Hope this helps!

What Peptides Are Your Must Haves Outside Of GLPs?
I know every post you're seeing out there right now is fear-mongering about GLP-1s going away after 12/31. We just have to wait and see what happens at this point. I'm not going to speculate anymore because there are so many possibilities. I will say if a company is contributing to this and it turns out to be a marketing ploy, they will lose ALL trust and be removed. That begs the question, what other research peptides could you not live without outside of the GLPs? Please drop them down below with your reasoning πŸ‘‡

⚠️ Quick Reminder: Why Vendors Won't Answer Your Protocol Questions
Seeing a lot of frustrating DMs and comments about vendors not responding to reconstitution or dosing questions. Let me be clear about why: Research peptide companies legally CANNOT answer these questions. When you ask "how do I reconstitute this?" or "what should my research protocol be?" - you're implying human use. These companies operate under "research use only" licenses. The moment they provide guidance on human protocols, they're crossing a legal line that could shut them down entirely. Now I'm even seeing credit card processors won't allow vendors to respond to questions about cloudy peptides or peptides that gel up. This is getting even more restrictive - payment processors are cracking down hard on anything that could remotely imply human use. It's not that vendors are being unhelpful or ignoring you - it's a legal and financial liability they literally cannot take on. This is why this community exists. This is why we share information with each other. You're choosing to conduct your own research, which means YOU are responsible for educating yourself on: - Proper reconstitution techniques - Storage requirements - Research protocols - Safety considerations - What cloudy/gelled peptides mean Don't get upset with vendors for protecting themselves legally. Be smart, do your research, and take responsibility for your own decisions. Check the guides in the classroom section if you need help with the basics. πŸ‘Š Remember This Community Is All Anecdotal and Research Based. Not Medical Advice so DO Your OWN Research Please.

Great info, its not the vendors responsibility to teach any of us how to do anything they're just selling us a product, they just have to make sure the product is pure.
Why Do Some People Feel Like Absolute GARBAGE When They Start SS-31?
Alright, let's talk about something that doesn't get discussed enough: that weird "feel worse before feeling better" phenomenon some RSs experience with SS-31 (Elamipretide). One would think a mitochondrial peptide would make an RS feel like Superman from day one, right? More mitochondrial efficiency = more energy = let's gooo! But here's what's actually happening... The Mitochondrial "Spring Cleaning" Effect SS-31 doesn't just make mitochondria work better - it literally helps the body identify and clear out the damaged, dysfunctional mitochondria that have been limping along. Think of it like this: The body has been running a factory with 100 machines. Maybe 40 of them are barely functional - smoking, sputtering, producing more waste than product. But hey, they're still contributing something to total energy output. Then SS-31 comes in like a new efficiency consultant and says "These 40 machines are actually COSTING more than they're producing. Time to shut them down and rebuild." What This Looks Like In Research Subjects: - Increased autophagy/mitophagy = the body is actively breaking down damaged mitochondria - Temporary energy deficit = just shut down 40% of the (admittedly crappy) energy production - Metabolic shifting = cells are reorganizing how they produce ATP - Possible "herx-like" reaction = all that cellular cleanup creates metabolic byproducts The Timeline: Most RSs report this sluggish phase lasting anywhere from 3-10 days. Some RSs don't experience it at all (lucky). But for those who do? It can feel like moving through molasses. What May Help: - Lower starting dose - perhaps starting at 2.5mg instead of 5mg - Support mitochondrial biogenesis - ensuring adequate B vitamins, CoQ10, magnesium - Hydration - helps flush metabolic byproducts - Light movement - not going hard, but not being completely sedentary either - Patience - this is actually a sign the peptide is WORKING The Payoff: Once the body clears out the damaged mitochondria and starts building fresh, efficient ones? That's when RSs report the real SS-31 benefits - sustained energy, better recovery, mental clarity, the works.

In my research, with NAD, 5-Amino once SS-31 was added the body just crashed 4 weeks was all my RS could take, stopped SS-31 and traded it for MOTS-C and wow the gym has been incredible and its only been 3 days.
