A key takeaway from tonight's live call
I tuned in lately to today's live zoom call, but I got a lot of value and I love the live calls, WE WANT MORE OF THEM LOL. My key takeaway from today's live call is how outreaching when you still suck at writing copy (all types of copy), negatively affects the reputation of copywriters overall, and how much of a bad impression the clients gets of you as a copywriter. (Let's not forget Alicia's haircut part lmao)

NESB isn't enough (I got a jobbbb)
Who am I so say this? I don't make money with copy...yet. And while that is true, what I can say is NESB wasn't enough to improve my copy It's like only grabbing one gold coin with a fat pile next to you. I realized this reading in my room, Joe Sugarman talking about the importance of the "Slippery Slide" and "The purpose of copy is to get the reader to read the first sentence, then the next, and the next" RIP to Joe Sugarman, an absolute copy-writing legend 🙏 My sister thinks I'm a salesman now, as I start to talk this 'language'. I'm reading "The Adweek Copywriting Handbook" and studying some sale pages. I still use the NESB method btw, and others as well. Now I got a sales job! Do you see my point? Take the entire pile, don't just grab a few coins....get hungry for more! You deserve it. So many greats to learn from (including Alisa) So...Go For It! ❤️‍🔥 Put your heart into it. You will win 2025! Let's do this
