Long overdue win Wednesday!!
Let’s shout out some wins, big or small!! My win of the week is actually NOT running this week, I’ve been under the weather and am not currently training (yay running for fun!) so instead of forcing myself to get in some miles, I’ve prioritized my body and some much needed rest :). Lots of waking!! What’s yours? 👇

@Emily Bailey the one I tried is through a local running store and had a huge crowd!
Friday Poll 🥤🍬🍪
If you could only choose ONE type/consistency of running fuel to take DURING your runs for the rest of your life, which would you choose? (Add why in the comments!)

I loveee the taste of the chews I have right now and I feel like the action of chewing instead of just slurping down a gel refocuses me

@Kristine Owen Wood I live in the twin cities but have heard such horror stories about how hilly the Twin Cities Marathon one is hahah. I also have such a busy summer- work wise that I can’t take a weekend off to run one so started looking at fall races. And I also like the idea of getting to see more of a city I haven’t seen much before and somehow just found the Milwaukee Lakefront one! Everything I’ve seen is that is run super well, is fairly flat, and is a little bit of a smaller race.
Sick Advice?
Good morning! On Sunday this past week I ended up in the ER with pneumonia like systems. Unfortunately it’s some sort of virus so no treatment plan except rest and fluids. I’m towards the beginning of a half marathon plan to build my base for the marathon and I KNOW rest is so so important especially when I’m ill. But struggling to not feel like I’m falling behind and already “failing” my goal of sticking to the plan. I’m feeling better so going to do a walk tonight but just looking for stories/advice on how to continue training with a setback like this. I missed my Sunday long run and my Tuesday run so far. Feeling out when I can continue getting back out there.

Friday Poll!
What time of day do you usually run? Feel free to comment why 😉 I almost always run in the morning because it puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day!
