3️⃣NEW Community Challenges - Instructions
We’re turning practice into a system, not a vibe A lot of you said the same thing: “I know what to train… I just don’t stay consistent.” Motivation isn’t the problem. Lack of structure and accountability is. So we’re fixing that. 🗓️ Monthly Dance Bingo Every month, you’ll receive a Dance Bingo Card. Each square is a specific action, like: - Record a practice video - Comment feedback on 3 members’ posts - Learn 15 seconds of a new song - Do a fundamentals-only session Complete the card → unlock exclusive resources. This turns practice into: - Clear actions - Visible progress - Actual consistency ⚔️ Concept Battles We’re also introducing team-based challenges. ⚔️ RULES What are Concept Battles? Concept Battles are monthly team-based training challenges designed to push your consistency, style range, and accountability. This month’s concepts: 🩶 Team VELVET: Elegant • Fluid • Controlled • Clean 🔥 Team CRUSH: Power • Hip-Hop • Energy • Attack • Team VELVET → I recommend something elegant (IVE / Red Velvet / NJ/ Hearts2Hearts, twice, ...) • Team CRUSH → I recommend something powerful (ATEEZ / BlackPink / Katseye/ NCT / Stray Kids, LESSERAFIM, BABYMONSTER...) You choose ONE team and commit for the month. How to Join 1️⃣ Comment under this post: VELVET or CRUSH 2️⃣ Once you choose, you stay on that team for the entire month 3️⃣ No switching. No double teams. How to Participate (This Is the Important Part) Your job as a participant is simple: 👉 Post your practice updates inside the community ( under the post (Team VELVET or CRUSH) depending on your team. You can post a dancing or vocal clip min 15sec. How Teams Earn Points Every valid practice post = 1 point for your team Extra points may be given for: - Helping another member with feedback - Consistent posting across the month - Clear improvement I will track this. Winning the Battle At the end of the month: - The team with the most activity + consistency wins - The winning team unlocks the monthly prize (announced at the end)

Let’s Crush This Year Together! What is your plan for this year?
Happy New Year, CHICADANCE family! We are building something special here, not just a group of dancers, but a real community of trainees dedicated to growth. I am so proud of the energy you all bring, but now it’s time to focus that energy into a clear plan. I want to hear from YOU. What is your biggest dance goal for this year? And how can we assist you in achieving it? Whether you want to pass an audition, finally nail your isolations, or just feel confident freestyling, we are here to make it happen. But remember: real progress happens when we train smart and stick together. For those seeking a structured path, our 30-Day K-Pop Trainee Challenge is the ideal starting point. It’s tough, but the results speak for themselves. Just look at one of our trainees, @Hannah Motruk from Germany! When Hannah joined us, she was passionate but needed help with her dancing. She committed to the program, leaned on this community for support, and didn't give up. Check out her thoughts on the program and her amazing progress video below! 👇 Seeing trainees like Hannah level up is exactly why we are here. She didn't just wish for it; she trained for it, and the whole community cheered her on. Now, let’s hear your story. Drop a comment below and tell us: 1. Your main goal for this year. 2. Are you joining us in any of the programs? Let’s keep each other accountable and make this our best training year yet!

🎧 Monday Audition Pick of the Week
Song: Pirate - Everglow [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2X-pL06628&list=TLPQMjYxMjIwMjWMz-t4HQ6Q-g&index=10] 🔥 Why this song works for auditions 1. Clean structure = clean evaluation This song has a clear intro, verses, and dynamic changes. That’s exactly what judges want. It allows them to see: - Your control in calmer sections - Your power when the song hits - Whether you understand musicality instead of just copying moves If a song is too chaotic, it hides your weaknesses. This one exposes them, which is good if you’re actually trying to improve. 2. Perfect for basics (bounce, control, angles) This track forces you to focus on: - Bounce and groove (not rushing) - Clean arm lines and angles - Weight transfers and balance 🧠 How you should train with this song (important) Do NOT just learn a choreography and film it once. Train it like this instead: 1. First 2–3 days: mark the choreo slowly and focus on timing + bounce 2. Next 2 days: clean angles, levels, and isolations 3. Last days: full out + facial control (not overacting) If you rush this song, you’re wasting it. 🎯 Audition tip Judges don’t care how many choreos you know. They care if you can fully dance one song with control, confidence, and intention. This song is a mirror. Use it properly. 👇 Your task this week - Practice this song at least 3 times this week - Film yourself once at the end of the week - Rewatch it and identify one thing you need to fix (not ten) If you trained this song before, comment “AGAIN”. If this is your first time, comment “NEW”. Let’s train like real trainees !💯

Save These 4 Choreos If You’re Serious About Auditions
If you’re serious about getting noticed, you don’t post random clips, you post precision, power, and purpose. These routines aren’t just pretty steps, they test stamina, musicality, control, performance, and presence, the exact things talent scouts and judges lock onto. Here are 4 choreos you NEED on your radar: 🎯 1) VVS Facts — Technique Meets Attitude 📍 Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bWUAnuXdlE This routine forces you to control rhythm changes and hit dynamic accents. Judges don’t care about perfection, they care about intent and clarity, this one trains both. 🌸 2) RESCENE (리센느) — ‘Bloom’ 📍 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYOnNqXcMls Melodic, expressive, and layered, this choreo is a student’s dream for expressive styling and flow. If you want to show emotional range, practice this until your transitions are effortless. 🔥 3) STAYC — ‘PIPE DOWN’ 📍 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yrVusHfd28 This is attitude in motion. Sharp lines, confidence, energy shifts, this one weeds out dancers who can move from those who can perform. Treat your practice like a performance, not a workout. 👑 4) IVE — ‘That’s My Girl’ 📍 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIH6Eebalh8 Clean, bold, and demand-driven. This routine forces precision timing and group synergy, even solo practice of this will sharpen your musical awareness like nothing else. 💡 REAL TALK: Most dancers waste time on “popular” routines that look cool but don’t challenge your craft. The videos above are strategic, they develop the skills audition judges actually score on: - Musical interpretation - Energy control & kills - Sharp → soft dynamics - Stage presence under stress If your training doesn’t make you uneasy the first 5 times you try it, you’re training the wrong things. 📈 YOUR ACTION PLAN (no fluff):

🏆 Monthly Evaluation Results: Top 4 Trainees!
The results are in. 📋 The last 30 days have been intense. I watched all of you push through sore muscles, difficult choreography, and those days when you just wanted to give up. But you didn't. Everyone improved so much, and the growth I’m seeing in your technique is real. However, I want to give a special shoutout to our Top 4 Most Active Trainees who showed up consistently and put in the work: 🥇 1. @Hannah Motruk 🥈 2. @Bea Rus 🥉 3. @Julianna Pihlajaniemi 🏅 4. @Anna-Brooke D You four set the standard this month. Amazing work! 👏 To everyone else: You did amazing. Improvement happens in steps, not leaps. Keep going. 👇 COACHING QUESTION: I am planning the curriculum for next month. What specific training or challenges do you want to see again? Any feedback to improve it?
