@Lisa Murray This is the exact thing @Carrie McFarland was saying to me recently. Skool makes it so easy!
What if Engagement isn’t the First Thing to Solve?
I’m building a Skool community right now, and I’ll be honest — engagement is slower than I expected. What I’m learning, though, is that pushing for interaction too early changes the energy of the space. I’m experimenting with consistency, clarity, and restraint instead of urgency. Less “how do I get people to respond?” and more “what makes this a room people want to come back to?” I don’t know yet how it will scale. But I’m paying close attention to culture, not just metrics. If visibility matters in 2026, I think this part — how the space actually feels — matters more than we admit.

@Anna Choi That’s amazing progress in such a short time. I am thinking about a challenge for my group;)

@Britt Free I love ‘cozy places I want to come back to’. That’s exactly what it is and what I want to create!! A soft place to land so we can do our most important work!
What's your take?
A great questions came up this morning... If members aren't engaging in your community, should you delete them after a number of days since joining? I shared my answer in this video. Let me know what's your take?

@Petra Fisher You're right...you never know.

Check the comments for my secret sauce and share yours too. Read through the other member comments and leave them a reply if it resonates with you.

@Brenda Rigney I was in such resistance to this idea of the FLAME. I have been influenced by how you think about it Brenda. Now I am working on my Flame and it has been so fun being a great member in all my communities, especially the AAF communities! I like how you described your why perfectly here. I am going to print it to put in my planner so I can be reminded!!
@Niya Davis Great advice! 2nd post today that I've said this: Data...yum!!!
