🌿 Permaculture Isn’t Just Gardening — A Thought From Our Last Chat
In our last conversation about "Permaculture & You", I noticed something honest and telling: many of us are curious or learning — but not so many are *living it* day-to-day. That got me thinking: maybe that’s because we sometimes see permaculture only as gardening — and not everyone has land, time, or a green thumb. But what if that’s a limiting belief? True, permaculture gives us lush gardens and food forests. But at its heart, it’s a design system — a way of thinking that works off the land, too. It’s about: - 🔄 Observing patterns — in nature, yes, but also in habits, workflows, and community. - ♻️ Closing loops — with waste, water, energy, even in conversations. - 👫 Building fair systems — not just plant guilds, but human connections. - 🌍 Thinking in relationships — between people, ideas, and resources. You don’t need a garden to practice permaculture. You can live it through: - Mindful consumption - Community sharing - Creative reuse - Ethical choices in work and home So if you’ve ever felt permaculture was out of reach — maybe it’s closer than you think. 💬 Where does permaculture show up in your life — beyond the garden? Let’s expand the definition — together. #PermacultureDesign #BeyondTheGarden #LivingSystems #EthicalLiving @everyone, here some related postings: https://www.skool.com/nature-inspired-living-2560/permaculture-you-lets-grow-together https://www.skool.com/nature-inspired-living-2560/blueberry-love https://www.skool.com/nature-inspired-living-2560/maybe-why-im-gluten-sensitive https://www.skool.com/nature-inspired-living-2560/food-feelings-check-in https://www.skool.com/nature-inspired-living-2560/healthy-dessert-recipe
