Hi, I’m Andy. On 4 January 2023 I was told I had terminal cancer and given 2 to 3 years to live. Today marks the end of year three. Yep, I’m still here. Still alive on the outside. Not cured, still on treatment, but very much alive on the inside too. The cancer journey is brutal, not just for the patient, but for everyone around them. You can watch YouTube videos of people like me talking about chemo side effects. You can scroll endlessly on TikTok about treatments and survival rates. But it’s all one way. I speak, you listen.
