SH competition 22-23 March 2025
Last weekend I had another competition on 50 m long course. I'm happy with what it turned out as, in the end, did some small improvements or more or less keeping my times from previous competition in February! 200M butterfly was a hard one (🥈), still need to find a better balance in the pace during each 50 m and I felt very tired for the next one which was 50M free, showed in the results. Though afterwards I went home and chilled, which gave me strength for the next two races 200M free and 100m butterfly. On Sunday I had 100M free and 50M butterfly, did not manage to improve the times. I need to improve my training, perhaps I need to push a bit more and get out of my comfort zone.

🎉 SPECIAL GUEST on Sunday! 🎉
What if I told you… your swimmer could meet a total swim LEGEND this weekend? It’s the Paris Olympics, and your swimmer bumps into their idol. They come back all starry-eyed, ready to train like Michael Phelps on turbo mode. No plane ticket needed this time, though. Because THIS Sunday, the Greek national record holder in the 1500m, Asterios Daldogiannis, is coming to hang out with us LIVE. 🙌 Here’s what Asterios will be spilling: ✅ How to swim faster (like, FAST faster). ✅ Secrets to staying cool as a cucumber before ANY race. ✅ The mindset he uses to CRUSH it every time he dives in. PLUS… he’ll be answering YOUR questions. (Yes, this is your swimmer’s chance to ask a literal record-holder anything. No pressure.) 👉 Grab your spot here 🚨 Warning: Seats are limited. And you do NOT want to be the person explaining why your swimmer missed out. See you Sunday! P.S. Asterios once raced 10km in open water. TEN. KILOMETERS. I’m tired just typing that. 🥵

They Understand Modern Swimming...
Turns & underwaters are hard, I get it. If it was easy, everybody would do it. And that's exactly where you can gain a HUGE advantage over your competitors. Most swimmers think they'll get good at turns & underwaters eventually. Yet, they take no action to actually improve them on a daily basis. Did you know that the team at the University Of Virginia drilled new holes into their pool so they could train in short-course meters instead of short-course yards? Success isn't accidental. Kate Douglass, Gretchen Walsh and Alex Walsh are proof. Here's Noe Ponti doing turns & underwaters. What are you doing in practice to speed up your fly kicks and stay under water for longer?? Share your tips in the comments for others to get inspired please!!

13 Years old swimmer mainly lifesaving. My favorite stroke is fin swimming and I'm sad I can't use it in regular swimmeets. Also I play Handball.
