Club Champs
Hey guys! I had Club Champs this past weekend and swam 4 races and 2 relays. I hit a few PBs and felt really good in the water. I decided to mix things up with some unusual races, which I think might have helped my anxiety a bit. I’ve also been doing my visualisation, and I can really feel it paying off, especially in my training. Results: - 100m Back: 1:14.37 (1s PB) - 200m Free: 1:28.9 (Added some time here; wasn't too happy with this one) - 200m Medley: 2:43.21 (6s PB) - 50m Breaststroke: 37.3 (3.5s PB and a Regional Qualifier, and I got the time by 1 second. Totally unexpected and probably my best swim of the meet.) After this weekend, I now have 5 'A' qualifying times and 3 'B' times for Regionals. For the relays, I swam the 50m Free and clocked a 28.61. Even though it’s a relay, it’s my first time dropping under 29 seconds in a year (my official PB is 28.91), so I’m really pleased with that. Now it's back to training for the next one. I hope all your competitions are going well!

What in the decathelon
I walked into Decathlon and see this in the swim section. I just found it so funny!! I assume he’s trying to be in a start position but managed to pull off a bear crawl instead. 😂😂😂

This weekend I had nationals. I went pretty good. I met a lot of my friends that live on other parts of the country and I'm was so happy to see them. I used Michael Phelps breathing technique and it helped my. I also visualized my races. I payed more attention on what am I ratnih. I swam: 400m free 4.54.2 (PB 12 sec) 200m medley 2.39.7 (PB 1 sec) 50m breastroke 37.6 (PB 0.30 sec) 100m breastroke 1.22.1 (added 1.8 sec) 1000m free 1.03.9 (added 0.40 sec) 50 free 29.9 (PB 1 sec)

First competition in 2026 - long course after winter break
Yesterday, I competed in a Polish-Czech race (over 50 clubs) on a 50 m pool. I wasn't 100% ready, as we had 2 weeks of winter break plus 3 days of a school trip during which I didn't swim at all. My mindset helped a lot; I did all my rituals, breathing, and visualization, so that all worked well. I managed to set 3 PBs, and I'm happy with the results, with gold in 200 fr (2:32:94) and 3rd place among top 12 y.o. swimmers. Lesson to learn: head position in fr, , more focus on starting in back, breathing on 100 m still in progress.
