The Standard Starts With You
Before anyone else meets your standard, you meet it. In the way you show up when no one is watching. In the tone you use with yourself when you fall short. In the way you honor your own word. Standards aren’t about controlling other people. They’re about alignment. When you hold yourself to what feels true, you stop asking others to compensate for what you’re not enforcing. It’s quieter than it sounds. But it changes everything. Where can you hold yourself to the standard you expect from others?

I already exceed the standards I expect from others, that is why I’m so hard on people and why they disappoint me so easily.

@Andriana Mahl it’s also very lonely lol. I’m done lowering my standards for ppl though. Time for higher vibrations!!!
Move Like You Mean It
Embodiment isn’t about talking about change. It’s about letting your posture, your tone, and your follow-through reflect it. You can say you value calm — or you can move calmly. You can say you have boundaries — or you can enforce them without apology. The body doesn’t lie. It either carries your standards, or it collapses around them. Where could you let your body communicate your standards today?

I overdid it the past few days and now my body is ANGRY. I’m not going to push myself today, and will instead focus on quieter work.
Stop Shrinking the Win
Bad bitch wellness doesn’t downplay what went right. It doesn’t minimize effort. It doesn’t rush past progress. It doesn’t say “it was nothing” when it wasn’t. You showed up this week— maybe quietly, maybe imperfectly— but intentionally. That counts. Own it. What’s one thing you did this week that you’re not going to shrink, explain away, or dismiss?

I have made only small steps forward in business setup, but they are steps toward the end goal and it all counts.
Choose One Thing to Handle
Bad bitch wellness doesn’t try to fix everything at once. It handles one thing well. Clarity isn’t created by doing more. It's created by deciding what matters right now — and letting the rest wait. Progress doesn’t need pressure. It needs focus. What’s one thing you can handle today — without turning it into a whole overhaul?

@Kelsey Cooling it’s definitely a daily hamster wheel.
Be Honest About What You Want
Bad bitch wellness doesn’t spiritualize indecision. It gets honest. Wanting less is allowed. Wanting more is allowed. Wanting something different than you thought you wanted is allowed. Clarity comes faster when you stop negotiating with your own truth. What do you want right now — if you remove expectations, timing, and other people’s opinions?

I want less stuff, more connection, and total change of scenery. And I’m making it all happen 🙃
