Spanish Truckers
Hey guys, I'm focusing on dispatching for Spanish-only speaking truckers. Have any of you noticed if there is a specific trailer type that is popular amongst this demographic? Is it best to focus on just one trailer type and only take in that clientele?

I would say box trucks! I get referrals for them daily. Find some Spanish speaking insurance providers that you can send referrals to.

@Jorge Alvarez I would do a search on Linked In. I have some I work with that I get referrals from. Also, try Alignable for the area you are located in.
DAT or Truckstop
Does anyone have access they can share? We have been trying to access both with our clients, but running into issues. Any ideas?
Rejection or Regret? You Choose...
Most dispatchers fear rejection... They think: • “What if I fail?” • “What if they say no?” • “What if I look dumb?” But here’s the truth: Rejection leaves you exactly where you are—with a little more experience. Regret keeps you stuck there forever... So how do you actually get past the fear and start taking more shots? Here’s how: 1. “I’m scared to fail” → “I fail if I don’t try” • You’re already losing by not starting. • Every “no” is a free lesson. • Keep swinging—the more misses, the closer you get to a win. Trying isn’t the risk—not trying is. 2. “I’m waiting for the right time” → “The right time is now” • There’s no perfect moment—only moments you missed. • Success doesn’t wait for your schedule. • Start messy. Learn fast. The longer you wait, the further you fall behind. 3. “I don’t want to look dumb” → “I don’t want to regret this” • In five years, no one will remember if you looked dumb. • But you will remember if you never tried. • Looking dumb is temporary. Regret is forever. Your pride is cheaper than your future. 4. “It’s hard to put myself out there” → “It’s harder staying stuck” • Growth never happens inside your comfort zone. • Staying where you are costs more than hearing “no.” • Your dream is on the other side of “awkward” and “uncomfortable.” Short-term discomfort beats long-term regret. 5. “What if no one says yes?” → “Every miss gets me closer” • Every failed attempt sharpens your next shot. • The ones who win are the ones who keep swinging. • Failure isn’t final—it’s feedback. The fastest way to win is to lose more often. 6. “I’m not ready” → “I’ll figure it out as I go” • No one starts fully prepared. • Action builds confidence—not the other way around. • Progress beats perfection. Every time. Starting messy beats never starting. 7. “What if it doesn’t work?” → “But what if it does?” • Fear stops more dreams than failure ever will. • You only need one door to open. • Bet on yourself—because no one else will. You’ll never know until you take the shot.

It's so true! At first after all of the studying I did I was nervous about getting on the phone. Now, I don't mind at all.
Leasing MC #'s
Hi Everyone! Have you come across anyone that will let your drivers lease their MC temporarily? I have a couple newer drivers looking to lease it.
Bumps and Bruises with DAT 🧨
Folks, I’m currently a fleet owner with 10 trucks and give or take 15 drivers. Our business learned a VALUABLE lesson a few weeks ago trying to establish an account with DAT. My dispatching team got my company in COMPLIANCE HELL. DAT has a policy of not sharing logins and is very security conscience with location of IP Addresses. We suspect that one of our dispatchers logged in with the same credentials from 2 locations. As of today, their Compliance Dept has turned our service off. Please don’t fall into this trap, as it is PAINFUL.

That's horrible. Next time, add them in as their own user on your account.
