Another Question!
One of the videos mentioned that you do not need to purchase Truk AI for every employee in your business. Can anyone point me in the right direction to answer the following: How many users are allowed on one Truk AI license? Thank you!

@Webb Byrne We allow unlimited users as of right now. But we will be changing that policy soon as some people have already started taking advantage of it ๐Ÿซ
HELP!
My phone number in Truck.ai isnโ€™t calling out. Did all of the configurations step by step. Says โ€œVERIFICATION IN PROGRESSโ€ I did the verification. All was well. It working.

@Joseph Jade You don't need to verify your phone number. It costs money and in my opinion, the government has made it REALLY hard to get approval. The only reason you would ever verify your phone number is IF you want to send promotional text messages... but it's not worth the hassle. So don't verify, just buy the phone number and you're ready to use it! Also, you don't need to buy the phone number through TrukAI. Just get it through Google VoIP or something like that!

@Joseph Jade That's ok. You don't need to do anything else. You bought a phone number and now you can use it to make calls. You only get verified if you want to send text messages, but you don't need that ever. Once you sign a carrier, you use WhatsApp or another software like that to communicate. TrukAI is for the front end stage. From lead to customer. After they become a customer, it's a different process.
New Rule
No AI slop. Dispatcher University (Free) is for real dispatchers who want to connect with other real dispatchers. This free community is here to help people learn how to start & grow a successful dispatch business from dispatchers with actual experience. Not from lazy AI copy-paste posts or responses. Not from ChatGPT answers with no real world value. So... if you see an AI post, please report it. We will delete and BAN with no warning. This community should be the best place on the internet for truck dispatchers who want to go from $0 to $10K/month with no experience. And you can only do that if you're learning from other dispatcher's successes and failures. If someone wants a generic ChatGPT answer, they can go ask ChatGPT themselves. What makes this place valuable is real people, real experience, and real conversations. Connection > content. Hopefully... I'm not the only one that's sick of the AI slop all over the internet. P.S. This is not directed at anyone. I just want to make everyone aware of the rules moving forward.

@LaVonnia Thrower I see what you mean but I think if you use AI to write out entire posts or responses, it can't be an oversight. It's very intentional.

@Tim Luce Oh 100%. I use AI as well for research (with citations/sources provided for every claim so I can verify) OR to re-write my thoughts out in a more succinct way. However, most don't use it like that! They let it do all the work for them and blindly trust it... which is a MASSIVE error. Especially if you're coming into a community to learn from a real experienced dispatcher, it doesn't make sense to rely heavily on an AI tool.
Setting up my business email account
Hey everybody I have a quick question. I've watched the free demonstrations the seven videos and I'm getting ready to join the paid dispatcher course. I'm trying to get something started with the business and I'm wondering how you're setting up your emails for your business as far as are you just setting up Gmail accounts? I don't think I've gotten to that part of setting up the business yet

@Megan Bennett Yes! It's also inside this community as well under the "TrukAI Full Guide" classroom. @Kelly Petago

@Joseph Jade Totally understand! Honestly, the paid course goes into a LOT more detail so that might be something you'd want to look at. But it would be really hard to constantly do LIVE step-by-step calls showing the entire system being put into effect because that's not what I do in my day to day now. I just manage the company, set the direction, strategize the service delivery + new product rollouts, and do the sales/marketing. However, I do have a video in the paid course where I put everything together from the load booking perspective and show you HOW everything should work from start to finish. So in the course I show you every step of the dispatch system... and then a video putting it all together and showing how the steps work together. Finally, last thing... you'll never ever feel ready just by consuming information. Like I could teach you everything you need to know about driving a manual, but you won't know how to actually do it until you get behind the wheel. You'll still feel super nervous and you'll probably mess up a bunch of times even with perfect information. Dispatching is no different!
Truk AI: Automations & Email Deliverability
After reviewing this, I realized this is part is very technical. One mistake can mess up everything. Thankfully, we have this video and/or notes to come back to. I'm glad the videos are as specific as they are. This is the behind the scenes work that allows different emails and notifications to go out to leads and clients so make sure you pay close attention to this. There was one small thing I noticed in the video that I wanted to get some clarification on. At 33:10, Gurpreet deleted an email campaign. I wasn't certain if we needed to do that as well, or if you deleted it because you were just giving us the setup but didn't need to keep it in your personal account. @Gurpreet Gill do you mind clarifying this for me please?

@Carla Mitchell @Megan Bennett @Charlotte Cox @Pam Warren I just went back and checked, the email that I deleted was just the sample email I was showing you guys how to create! It saves the email as a draft when you exit the email editor. So I just deleted it because I was only trying to show you how to create new emails and how to send out emails and publish them. Once I did that, I didn't need to keep that email draft around.
