Dealing with pain? It wasn't long ago that the recommendation was to rest. Some of that is true in order to not make the injury worse. The solution? 👉 Muscle anywhere and everywhere. Back pain? Solution = build your core; build your biceps Knee injury? Solution = build your core; build your biceps, triceps and shoulders Shoulder injury? Solution = build your core, glutes and quads When we play offense, we increase odds of winning instead of waiting around playing defense and hoping not to lose. Where can you shift from defense to strategic offense mode?

I’ll go first. I didn’t start training with the goal of big biceps or triceps. But when glute work flares my back, I can choose to build my arms instead—keeping momentum while reinforcing other parts of my body.

"I can be imperfect and still be consistent." Quitting usually isn’t about failure—it’s about avoiding the discomfort of imperfect progress. Consistency isn’t staying on the wagon. It’s getting back on. What’s one small action you can take today to make it easier for you to just hop back on? (I like to think of this as penny deposits into our health bank for compounding gains.)

@Zona Lord Yes! I didn't realize how much "bandwidth" I was burning through with the self judgement. It was so automatic-but now that I'm aware, I'm replenishing that energy currency and using it toward more helpful things!

"My muscles are proof of the work I chose to do, not the work I forced." This shifts self-talk away from “I’m weak and need to fix me" to “I’m capable so I choose to exercise that privilege.” Where can you encourage yourself to build muscle rather than punish your body so it conforms?
