Struggles
Tried to have a conversation regarding boundaries and requesting increased communications so we can work through our differences. Instead I was cut out completely and told not to talk to them again. I didn’t even get to say what was bothering me. Apparently just asking for a meeting was enough to cut me out of their life. This seems to be what happens every time I try to stand up for myself, request boundaries, or show any kind of emotion that isn’t sweet quiet obedient woman.

Before you dive into the rest of your day, check in with yourself: What’s one thing you genuinely need right now — not the expectation, not the routine, the real need underneath everything? Maybe it’s rest. Maybe it’s clarity. Maybe it’s a boundary. Maybe it’s joy. Ask yourself honestly: “What would actually support me today?” Then let yourself follow through on it.

I need our family meeting to go well as I need to set a boundary that could cause negative reactions. I need to believe that everything will go the way it is supposed to. I need to be able to let go of my anxiety regarding setting this boundary.
Heal The Cycle Workbook
Has anyone started working through the "Heal The Cycle" workbook? I worked through exercise one today and I already feel like I am understanding myself better. I actually cried when reading out loud the new declration/agreement I wrote for myself. ❤️‍🩹

Friday Energy Checkin
Quick check-in — where’s your energy sitting today? My meditation this morning reminded me of something we forget all the time: we feel emotions so our body can guide us into action. That physical sensation isn’t random — it’s your system trying to move energy through you and move you toward something… or away from something. So pause for a moment: Are you holding any emotions back? A laugh you swallowed? A cry you pushed down? A truth you ignored? When you suppress it, the energy stays stuck. When you let yourself feel it, you naturally take the next step — and that step is what releases the energy from your body. You’re not “too emotional.” You’re being guided. Let whatever is coming up move through you today so you can move forward on your path.

I disconnected from my emotions as a self preservation method many years ago and have struggled to allow myself to feel my emotions since. Usually this means I’m fairly apathetic until I burst and come across as extremely emotional. The idea of sitting with my emotions or body/mind is terrifying.
