Soft Hands
Those of you who have had horsemanship lessons, I’m sure you have heard the term soft feel and soft hands before. There’s a huge misunderstanding though, that soft hands are not solid. They are very solid when it comes to holding - when a horse has resistance you’ll see many people pull, but the key is to hold - like a solid tree trunk in the ground. No give, but no take either - it’s a hold. Firm, without fight - just hold. But when the horse gives we must soften, slow down and give A LOT. it’s a tough concept to get your head around - so later this week I’ll launch the soft hands course. 6 really good exercises for you and your horse to soften and build the lightness that feels like magic. At half the price of a lesson and lifetime access it’s a great way to start the new year!

It’s a new year
And no I’m not going to tell you to set your goals ( yes you should!) or start doing affirmations (yes you should!) or get going to the gym (yes you should!) But I am going to suggest making time…time for you to do the things you love. Life gets in the way, yes. We allow ourselves to get busy or distracted, but if we actually write time into diary for the things we love you will find it has a big effect on your day, week and year. When we write in our own time we are prioritising self care, and I promise when you see it written down you’ll feel special. Follow thru with it. Work can wait, dinner can wait, the washing can wait. Give yourself permission to look after you, no matter what it is your love to do

I have just yesterday done this very thing! I have prioritised a weekly lesson and moved clients (I have my own business). This is a huge change for me, I always put others needs first and in short it was crushing my sense of self to the point I where I felt I was nothing if I wasn’t ‘doing’ something for someone else. This left me feeling empty when I was on my own. I am, this year, going to focus on me a bit more (even typing that made me cringe a bit🤔). One step at a time 😄
There’s no one helping me..
Some of the biggest struggles come from pointing the finger at the problems and focussing on the pain but how do we stop that habit - it’s easier said than done. But one simple way is to create a character (a vision if you like) for your ego. Really see that version of you as someone else. Then rather than blaming them or pointing the finger, you can have conversations with them. This gives you power, understanding and a tool to use to find out things about yourself you may never have realised. #cowgirlsmindset

It’s a brand new year 🎁
Today it’s the start of a change of pace for me. I plan on doing things differently this year. It’s a time to change and what better day to start. So here on day one I will share with you the way I incorporate change. It’s a little woo woo so if you’re not into being open this isn’t the space for you. Being vulnerable here so bear with me, it’s a hard thing to put into words, and I’m sure some things will be lost in translation, but here goes…. Who am I - the biggest question of all. And a simple one to answer from a space of soul. But let’s turn up the heat and ask it from egos perspective. So in my first session of the year I got a huge, and I mean huge, awakening. Ego - I am of service (ok that’s not a bad thing), below others so I must give (now that’s not so nice) and as a giver I don’t deserve to receive (ok now that’ really feels bad). Let’s look at the energy behind receiving…. And I really start to squirm - literally pulling away and trying to leave - I am so repelled by the thought of receiving (now we ask why and when this became my vibration) It’s in my throat and upper chest, like a weight, it’s thick and heavy and very, very negative. It hasn’t always been there, it’s new in this lifetime. It’s a choice (by soul??) yes by soul. (A punishment?) no an experience. (The lesson?) With wealth we give frivolously, without thought for how the receiver feels. We give to make ourselves feel good, better even, and to help without attachment. (Please remember this is my personal experience in a past life, not the truth) I’ll clarify here, my past life feels like I’m in a castle or some sort of noble place and I am from family generational money. So here (now) I have to give thru service (not wealth) and the negativity in receiving forces me to continue to give without receiving !!!! (Those who know me know this to be true. And know that I really struggle to receive) So to change this vibration I need a truth, and it’s only a truth for me (so it may not be for you) and it’s often hard to find. So I have to ask questions here till I feel a shift. That shift only comes when you have a realisation of a belief that doesn’t serve you ….

OMG this is so powerful and right up my alley!! I definitely have a massive energy shift happening and I need to do some of this work to free myself from some ‘false’ beliefs that are hurting me! 🙏 Just fabulous 🙏💕
