I recently came across Malcolm Gladwell's wisdom that resonates with my philosophy: When Gladwell was asked about the work he does, and how he chooses projects that are in total alignment with him, he mentioned, "to the best of my ability, I try not to define myself at all." “Self-conceptions are powerfully limiting. The most important thing is never to make a decision about yourself that limits your options. In the act of defining yourself, you start to close off opportunities for change, and that strikes me as being a very foolish thing to do if you're not 85 years old.” -- Malcolm Gladwell Gladwell tries to never define himself — because if he did, he’d overlook every opportunity that doesn’t fit that narrow definition. Who are you without any labels or attachment to limiting beliefs? SoOoo many people believe "they are not enough," that they can never be successful or achieve their dreams -- Who would you be without these false beliefs?? Can you detach from societal labels, titles and manmade constructs -- and who would you be without them?
