Print Book at Launch? Or 30 Days after Digital...?
Alright, there's much debate on this point, and I'm curious about YOUR experience/results... When you launch your ebook, do YOU launch your print versions at the same time as digital? Or do you release print ~30 days after digital...? Benefits of simultaneous, from what I understand, is that customers can buy in their preferred format and you can build all the buzz around the actual physical book. Downside is that buyers that would buy the digital book and then come back and buy the physical a month later now only buy once. AND - most importantly - instead of getting to rank for Kindle bestseller for a month and then AGAIN for normal bestseller... you're splitting sales between the two, which hurts rankings... Launching them a month apart gets you best new release status and bestseller status on digital and then the following month again, but in print... ? So... what's been your experience? :)

@Kate Duncan when you say "All formats," you also including audio books? Not sure when I will have my audio book ready.
Can I Get Your Honest Take on a Book Title?
Hi all, I’ve been working on my book title for weeks (maybe months!) and have read a lot about what makes a strong one. I think I’ve landed on a title that ticks most of the boxes — at least it makes sense to me. The challenge is: 1. I’m not sure how it sounds to others. 2. It might be on the long side. I even ran it through the AM Institute’s EMV Headline Analyser, and it scored 43%, which is decent, but I’d like to know how it lands with real people. What’s the best way to properly test a book title? My personal network doesn’t know much about writing books, so I don’t think they’d give me the most useful feedback. Thanks in advance, Alex

@Sarah Bean thanks to @Gary Anderson and the above videos, I have a Change of direction. It was: Become Too Valuable to Ignore at Work: How to Use the Intrapreneur’s Code to Win Promotions, Earn More, and Build Career Leverage To something like: Become Irreplaceable: How to Use the Intrapreneur’s Code to Win Promotions, Earn More, and Build Career Leverage

@Julie Broad I was thinking about that, then I realised that a lot of people don't know what an Intrapreneur is. Now I've chosen: Too Valuable to Ignore How to Use the Intrapreneur’s Code to Win Promotions, Earn More, and Build Career Leverage
My manuscript is finally finished
Hey fellow authors, I finally finished my memoir last week—what a journey it has been! My book, I AM GOOD: A Mother’s Journey to Love and Self-Worth, tells the story of how unexpected motherhood forced me to confront the shadows of my past. In learning to be a mother, I discovered how to mother myself. It’s about breaking generational cycles, finding love in unexpected places, and embracing the unshakable truth that we are all worthy of love and belonging. As a life coach, my hope is that this book not only resonates with readers but also supports the work I do—helping women step into their worth and create the lives they long for. I’ve been soaking up Julie’s YouTube videos and audiobook, and they’ve been such a guiding light. Thank you, Julie! Here I am now, stepping into the next chapter—author marketing.

London based Author in Progress, Keen to Connect
Hi everyone, I’m Alex, based in London, England. I’m in the process of finishing my first book on how to succeed and grow in your career. It’s been a big project for me, and a lot of what I’m writing comes from lived experience, mistakes, and lessons learned the hard way. I joined this group because I want to connect with people who are on a similar journey. My goal here is to share experiences, learn from others, and exchange ideas that can help us all move further, faster. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Thanks @Gary Anderson, I can see, I’m taking my time going through the group. Just working out what kind of launch I’m going to do. Next step is getting the book cover designed 😊

Hi @Sarah Bean, I've just had it edited, now need to read through again and add a interview and worksheets. I'm also planning to create a trailer using AI for the book to get people to join the waiting list for the release. Exciting times :)

From 5am to 9am before I start work. Then read over what I wrote in the evening to do a light edit. This took me a month to finish my first draft.
