Nice bro. I have an engaged lead and I’ve been doing free value for her. She needs help with YT content so I cooked up a batch of thumbnail titles 🧑‍🍳 She responded positively so now the next idea I have is to make some YouTube SEO scripts for her to add in her descriptions. Other than that, I’m trying to do more lead sourcing, and icl, it’s such a boring process. It feels like a job 😭 How can I learn to fall in love with the process?
why 97% of copywriters will fail...
If you've been grinding for months trying to land your first copywriting client and getting nothing but ghosted... I feel you. You've binge watched every damn video about outreach but nothing works. Here's what's really happening: - You're stuck in tutorial hell (always learning, never earning) - Clients smell the desperation in your proposals - You're competing on price like everyone else - That voice won't shut up: "Who am I to charge $2K?" It kind of makes you start thinking should I continue or get a normal gig??? I used to think landing clients was some secret only the "creators with a following" knew. But then I cracked the code. Look here's the truth: Getting clients isn't about being the best writer. It's about being the most trusted writer. PERCEPTION When you understand this, clients start sliding into your DMs instead of you chasing them. So how do you improve your perception? Drop a question related to copywriting and I'll send you my PERCEPTION checklist Its exactly how I booked this call from IG DM's (ITS POSSIBLE)

I’ve been doubting my ability to find leads on IG and YT, and the reason why is because I’m deadass just lazy. Thats the truth. I dont like the idea of doing free work for prospects, But think about it… How else am i supposed to learn copywriting and learn outreach at the same time? Who’s actually going to trust a random, skinny fat 18 year old like me to write the marketing material for their biz? Who’s actually going to pay me $2k from the start just to write a landing page? No one. I need to humble myself and actually do free work for prospects. I shouldn’t be treating it like a job or like homework. I should have fun during the process. Learning about marketing and doing market research. It should be a fun process. Thats my reflection

Month 1 | Day 7 [Accountability]
📌Day - 7 💰 MRR - $1,500 (6.6k side income) 🎯Goal - $10,000 🚩Bottleneck (s) - client work Day Notes This morning I pushed myself through a run I really didn’t want to do. In the afternoon, I got payment from a client though we ended up not needing the full buildout, so we settled at $500 instead of $650. Bit of a bummer, but on the bright side, it means less work. Since I didn’t take many photos today, I found myself looking back at some shots from my Bali trip. The final stretch of September has been mostly client work + wrapping up projects and keeping things moving. Businesses Stats (Monthly) section will return middle of october will be traveling and managing existing projects

Bro time is going by too fast. September is going by too fast. My main objective is to do more lead sourcing from YT and IG
I Have So Many False Beliefs About Outreach.
I’m prospecting on YT and IG and I’m funnel hacking my leads to see where I could provide free value for them. But the thing is, I have no idea where I could help them out in. They already have funnels and marketing processes so what free value is there to provide? KJ Raineys Copy Skool is telling ppl to do high value outreach which consists of: 1: emails for email newsletters 2: IG scripts, story CTA’s 3: or YouTube thumbnail ideas. Those are the main 3 types of value that he recommends. But every single lead I come across doesn’t need any of that stuff. And I need to provide free value before I send any outreach. And all the people in Copy Skool are getting responses from leads but I don’t think it’s smart to be spamming 20 low quality outreaches a day. I definitely could setup an upwork profile and get clients that way. Idk, this is the most doubt and negativity I’ve ever felt about copywriting
IDK how to outreach…
Hey guys, I’m prospecting this one creator who has an info product around teaching content creators how to grow on social media. He has 7k subs on YouTube, 103 people in his low ticket skool community. And he also has a lead magnet offer, but it’s lowkey dookie. See for yourself down below. The opt in page is trash, the email is trash, and the free resource is also trash. I wanna outreach to him through email and make a loom video for him, explaining what could be improved. I want to help this guy revamp his lead magnet process. How should I do it?

@Tre Heart I’m honestly super bad with marketing math. Idk how to explain to my prospect that he can make [X] amount of money with these subscribers converting into the Skool. How should I learn the marketing math?
