I Stopped Sending Looms. Replies Went Up.
Alright, I want to break down a strategy that used to work insanely well, stopped working for most people, and is now quietly working again if you apply it the right way. Youโ€™ll probably recognize this. A few years ago, Loom videos crushed. Youโ€™d send a cold email like: โ€œHey, mind if I record you a quick Loom?โ€ Theyโ€™d say yes. Youโ€™d spend 10 minutes recording a custom video. Send it over. Replies would spike. Why did it work? It worked because it felt 1-to-1. The prospect believed you sat down, thought about them, and made something specifically for their business. Thatโ€™s the psychology. Now hereโ€™s the problem: Doing this at scale is brutal. Recording 10 minutes per prospect doesnโ€™t scale past a handful of leads a day. So people abandoned it. Big mistake. The strategy didnโ€™t stop working. The format did. Instead of sending a Loom, you switch the deliverable. Hereโ€™s what works now: You ask permission to do research, not a video. Something like: โ€œWould it be useful if I put together a quick breakdown of your company vs competitors? I can send it over in 24 hours.โ€ Thatโ€™s it. What happens in their head: โ€“ โ€œTheyโ€™re going to spend time on meโ€ And thatโ€™s the win. Now the real unlock: You donโ€™t actually need to do this manually. With automation, you can generate: โ€“ mini audits โ€“ competitor snapshots โ€“ opportunity breakdowns โ€“ teardown-style reports All personalized, fast and scalable. From the prospectโ€™s perspective, it feels just as personal as the old Loom videos. From your side, youโ€™re not burning 10 minutes per lead. This is what I call a reverse lead magnet. Instead of giving away a generic PDF to everyone, you offer something that appears custom first, then deliver it at scale. If you want to see exactly how I set it upโ€ฆ Comment โ€œReverseโ€ and Iโ€™ll break it down.

Why I Quit ActiveCampaign Overnight
Seriouslyโ€ฆ you're lighting money on fire. Close to $1,000/month for tools like ActiveCampaign. And for what? Sending + dashboards. Here's what I'm using instead: Listmonk - Free, open-source email tool - No subscriber limits - No sending limits Amazon SES - ~$0.10 per 1,000 emails - Better deliverability than most tools And the best partโ€ฆ I run the entire system through Claude. No dashboards. No clicking around. Just commands. You go from: "managing email campaigns" โ†’ "running a system" Most people are stacking tools โ€ฆand paying hundreds (or thousands) every month. When you can run the same (or better) setup for almost nothing. If you want the full setup guide + Claude skill I use: Comment "Monk" below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Google's new wave of attack is here. โš ๏ธ
Here are the 3 changes you need to make ASAP: 1. Domain Forwarding ๐ŸŒ Even though this is standard practice... itโ€™s incredibly risky. If 1 domain has 100 domains forwarding to it, itโ€™s easy to tell itโ€™s being used for cold email. The solution? Before, I cloned all my websites using GHL, but this was horribly ineffective. The better way: Domain Masking๐Ÿคซ Using EmailGuard(.io), you can trick ISPs to think one domain is another without forwarding. The URL stays the same, and Google is fooled. 2. Identical Mailboxes ๐Ÿ‘ฏ๐Ÿ“ง Most emailers use the exact same names for all their mailboxes. But look at this from Googleโ€™s perspective: 10 โ€œJay Feldmansโ€ in a single company isnโ€™t normal. Itโ€™s a dead giveaway. The solution: Use different names and images for every mailbox. Images should be AI-generated, as theyโ€™re different every time. Avoid using pictures from Google, as they might be crosschecked. 3. Domain Names ๐Ÿ” It isnโ€™t hard for Google to find the similarity in domains with just a few word changes: - (otterpr).com - my(otterpr).com - go(otterpr).com - hi(otterpr).com Using the exact same names for all domains is a huge red flag. Those were the 3 biggest changes that will crush most cold emailers. 2 other tips to watch out for: - Unsub Links: These kill deliverability. Use a P.S. statement to opt people out. - Tracking Open Rates: This lowers deliverability. Track replies instead.
