Question & Debate for us all
My son currently plays for two teams: one on Saturdays and one on Sundays. His Saturday team has impressively progressed from level 8 to level 2 in their first season. However, the overall standard of the team is still below my son Jacob’s level. In contrast, his Sunday team has consistently competed at level 1 and is of a very high standard. With me being a professional scout and my sons manger on Saturday & Coach Sunday My concern is whether playing for two teams with such different levels of ability could affect his development and performance. Specifically, could it impact things like clean sheets, attitude, overall performance, or confidence due to the differing quality of the players around him? I’d really appreciate insights from other goalkeeper parents or coaches.

Aiden plays for two teams as well. He plays for his league team (pre-ECNL), and a futsal select team. Aiden's League team (Pre-ECNL) is an A-team (first team) which is the highest category of soccer there is at his age group. These kids are good but is not as good as the Futsal team. Futsal select team are kids from different teams put into one team and these kids play at a high category of soccer. What I've notice in Aiden is that when he plays with his team (league), he gets frustrated when his league team makes a lot of mistakes that his futsal team don't make. Futsal, you have kids from four different league teams combine and they know how to play their position in compared to his league team, league kids still need work. Aiden gets more exposure with league then futsal, but as long as he plays pre-ecnl, Aiden should be good. As for futsal no exposure means less reps with more mouth leadership. I was told by a scout that apart of skills, scouts look at leadership and how well you take every goal. stay positive and be a leader is what they are looking for. You can be the best player in the world but, if you are a negative player, putting down your teams, pointing fingers instead of staying positive, scouts will pass the player.

New to this…
Sorry I’m new to this and just trying to understand all things Sponsored and Affiliates… How does the sponsorship work basically and with your affiliate link can you supply someone a discount code to use your link or is that part not allowed if they use your link and only the discounts listed online apply? Thanks in advance

So first there are 9 levels, each level is like a discount or something. The last level is you get a contract and free VIP, for goalkeeper gloves called,”J4K”. You can go through levels by commenting, making videos with a lot of comments, people liking your comment, and people following you.when people do that stuff you get points. So when you click on your profile there’s a certain number, that’s how much you need to go to the next level. From there on you just keep on going.
