💎Welcome! Please Introduce Yourself :)💎
To kick things off, please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know... #1 - Who are you, where are you from and who do you work with? #2 - What do you want to get out of being in this community? #3 - For fun what do you like to do? #4 - Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to do work from. I'll go first... #1 - I'm Jean 👋 A professional pilot who has spent my life mastering the craft. I now work as a chief pilot for a large company in Canada, that operates business jets globally. I am a husband and father of 3, and my passion has been to pursue the Golden Rule, and serve those around me (including my beloved family) with all my skill and passion. #2 - In line with #1, my heart and passion is to give back and pursue the Golden Rule in every way possible. Here on Skool, it means giving back to this awesome community through what I've learned in my 20+ years of professional experience #3 - I'm a creative at heart. When not working you'll find me drafting a kid's story, pictures to go with it, a video for YouTube or perhaps hanging out with my famjam and our community! #4 - see below!

I also coach my kids minor hockey teams and spend a lot of time fishing with all of my kids. Lastly, I really enjoy writing articles for Skies Magazine.
Sample Resume
Here's what I've been working on these last few weeks. While most resumes I see during the role screening each bring their strength or uniqueness, I also find that there is often things that will quickly turn me off: Tell me your story: Your experience matters, and I want to know where you are coming from, what drives you, and why I should hire you over the guy who has more hours or comes with a type rating. Large tables full of hours, down to the nitty gritty. The truth: I want to see a few things only, and the mix of the below will tell me more than enough. I honestly don't read "cross crountry" time. 1. What kind of real world experience do you have? 2. Do you have multi engine time? 3. Do you have JET time? 4. Do you have COMMAND time? 5. What else do you have in your toolbelt aside from time at the yoke? Your experience:Please don't make me scroll all the way down to see where you are working NOW. Recent at the top, oldest at the bottom! Finally, how do you keep yourself growing professionally? What is your education, or how do you continue to learn? That's really it! :) 💡Check out the course if you want to take the deep dive, or just download the sample resume and start playing around https://www.skool.com/the-global-life-4301/classroom/9415d577?md=262b98f0483149f48474a05d298c0bb4 🎁 As a bonus, try out this little bot. Either let it interview you, or upload your current resume and see what you come up with! Would love to hear your thoughts! https://pilotres-fnes7r.manus.space/?code=QrS6PAEe7JQ83VfKYDt2Jz

@Jean Denis Marcellin the biggest thing for me is that a resume gets about 30-45 seconds on my screen. If I can’t quickly scan it and find the relevant information I need in that timeframe, the resume will often be overlooked. Relevant times and information such as CPL/ATPL, Iatra/SAMRA/SARON, passport/visa held, specific endorsements or training etc need to be at the top in a clear and concise format.
